Thanks again Tim and Jaa for yet another fabulous meal, the great cocktails and the good chat! We have been going to Hemingway’s for many years and always make at least one trip from the north of the island to the south especially to go every time we are in Samui. I highly recommend the steamed sea bass it was delicious, but you really can’t go wrong with anything from their menu and the pina colada is the best! See you guys in a couple of months for sure!…

We had a wonderful time cooking up delicious dishes under the watchful eye of wonderful chef Jaa. Our expectations were high considering we had attended the school in 2017 and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food delicious but our knowledge of Thai cooking has been greatly enhanced.…

It was all delicious, as we knew it would be, as we were able to choose the dishes that we made. We were also given drinks and dessert that we had not been expecting too, such a bonus! We met with Tim, Jaa’s partner, and he was equally informative about Koh Samui. The restaurant is in a less developed area of the island and we enjoyed the drive to the restaurant. If we had more time we would definitely go back to eat at Hemingway’s, this time without doing the work ourselves! We booked the cookery lesson (recommended in Lonely Planet) as something to do with our boys during a morning of uncertain weather on our holiday. However if we were to come back again we would do it again, even if the weather was blazing sunshine. In fact if you’re looking for something to do to get out off the beach, it would be ideal. Highly recommended.…
