Horse rides and treks for all ages and levels in one of Greece’s most beautiful environments, Papigo, one of 46 villages in the Zagori region, in the heart of the National Park of Northern Pindos. Enjoy the sunset as it paints the majestic cliff faces a deep sultry red while riding among the forefeet of the spectacular Astraka peak (2,436m). You can also admire the endemic wildlife watching golden eagles and kestrels soaring above and hunting the smaller prey of the area. And on a lucky day you might be able to catch a glimpse of a fox, badger, hare or wild boar or see a brown bear scrambling along the cliff faces.

My friend and I had a fantastic hack with Spiros and the horses. The horses are well looked after and very gentle, I felt super safe and relaxed. Spiros is lovely and really friendly! It was very easy to book and find - we're just disappointed we booked it at the end of our holiday! We'd definitely go again when in Corfu and highly recommend it.

Great people, Beautiful horses !

The day was bright and sunny. My boyfriend and I wanted to try horseback riding & they kindly squeezed us into their schedule. The people caring for the horses were obviously knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and their work. They made us feel right at home with their genuine smiles, even offering us some fresh Greek coffee while the horses were prepared. I felt safe as I was guided and taught everything from mounting to communicating with the horses. They are used to many tourists, so if it is your first time, this is the perfect place for you! If you are an experienced rider, let them know & perhaps there are certain rides for you. Enjoy!!

Amazing horse ride

Amazing experience, I really recommend this. We did a lovely 45min ride with the horses at a very beautiful place and we were riding for the 1st time in our lives. Both the instructors are amazing and super helpful.

Will definitely visit again if I come back to Papigko

Amazing experience! We went today my husband and i... and we had our son with us who is 3 1/2 years old! He was on Thunder and He looooved it! The lady who was our guide was awesome! She talked to us all the time and she was with the child 100% through all the ride. My husband has experience with horses... so he rode with Emmanouil.. it was easy for him and fun... And I who was scared from before i got up on the horse i was riding with Aladin and absolutely recomend it! Even if you are scared to death as I was .. go for it! They are the perfect team to make you forget your fear and have a lot of fun!

This is an amazing experience not to be missed. I had never rode a horse before but always wanted to try, Thanks to the excellent tuition of the very friendly staff I had a truly unforgettable experience. Very reasonable prices fantastic animals and beautiful surroundings..

Great experience for kids and adults

My girls love horses and while staying in Papigo we went on a horse ride at the White Pegasus.
It was a lovely afternoon.
Dimitri and Yulia were extremely patient and explained everything in details.
They took us on a beautiful trail and made us and the girls feel very secure. The horses were calm and my girls were so happy with the ride they couldn't believe it was over....
A fantastic experience, highly recommended.

Trail riding with Julia and Demetrios is so much fun! They are careful and attentive for new riders and accommodate riders who want to experience a bit more. The ride is so beautiful and definitely worth it. The views are unbeatable. Don’t miss this pleasant activity!

A must do for riders

A nice and varied tour in a beautiful environment. Very friendly guide who tells you all about the whereabouts on the route. The horses are very well treated, have a good fur and character. The owners take well care of them.

*Excellent service by Daphne and her assistants. All the guides were calm and helpful.
*Excellent condition of the horses: Dapnne who is in charge does not exaust the horses with non-stop rides.
*Very clean stables.
*The ride is incredible: the route is in nature (not in a fenced plot) in a magical environment.

my first experience in horse riding so far, but it was a lot better than I expected. The instructor made us feel very comfortable and let us ride (even trot) on our own. It was well worth it.
