This is for sure the nicest village around, with lovely view, beautiful allies, nice coffee shops and this to do around.

Stroll through the little rocky streets of this historic city and you will be thrilled by the feeling and the atmosphere. The view and the horizon is very beautiful. Gives you the chills.

Perhaps Dimitsana can be considered the center of the track activity in the area. It is located at the crossroads of several roads. First, the "Menalon Trail", consisting of 8 sections, the first of which (from Stemnitsa) ends, and the second (to Zigavisti) starts here. The first is quite remarkable, the second is three times shorter and much less interesting. Secondly, there are separate trails - for example, to the water museum, located two (almost) kilometers from the town. Or to the monastery of Amyalon (which is also part of the second section of the "Menalon Trail" and to which you can come from the water museum, you only need to walk a couple of kilometers. To the monasteries of Prodromou and Philosophou there are separate trails. To the Philosophou from Dimitsana in general, many paths lead.
I think, Dimitsana is a real paradise for hikers.
