I did Playa's + Geo Tour and Pan de Azucar, both with Monserat. Apart from being very nice and helpful she provided us with lots of info about the beautiful rock formations, the Atacama, the cacti, etc. The viewpoint of Pan de Azucar is amazing. Geo Turismo charges about US$5 more than other agencies and for that you get a licenced guide, a smaller group (10 max), professional and abundant information, more stops and in both tours an interesting and nice walk. Monserat is a teacher of history and really knows a lot about everything you get to see and can answer every question. We had plenty of time to enjoy and take pictures, no rush. Note that their office is not in Bahía Inglesa but in Caldera on the Plaza in the same building as the municipal Tourist Info, just round the corner. In spite of what Tourist Info told me there are no English spoken tours in Caldera, I inquired with several agencies. For extra costs Geo Tours can provide you with a translater which might be worth while if you are with a group to share or have enough money. If you speak some Spanish Monserat is happy to speak slow and give you extra attention. I can reality recommend Geo Turismo, thank you Monserat!

Monserrat and Rodrigo are excellent guides! They know a lot about Atacama and they are very friendly. We went on Pan de Azúcar National Park tour and Playa La Virgen and geological tour and it was awesome they really know their stuff and are super excited to show you. We saw amazing rock formations, cacti that only exist in Chile and went trekking and got to see an amazing view (check the picture) 100% recommended if you love nature

It was a great tour with this company. We had a lot of fun all ady long. The tour started a bit late due to mechanical problems, but that didn't have any effect on the lenght of the tour. Good driver and a good guide, also had a good lunch. All in all a very good day.

I went with GeoTurismo to the flowering desert. The tour consisted of some spots along Route 5 in Chile, lunch, stopping at a small village, and then seeing other wildflowers in a few more areas (different than the morning ones). The guides knew where to go to see the best flowering, and it was one of the most beautiful days of my life. The flowering desert is absolutely incredible, and I recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience this short-lived phenomenon. Tip: Bring toilet paper, some coins, and hand sanitizer. You stop in small towns that don't have the best bathrooms.
