This is a tiny museum - its total size is less than the size of a single hall in many big museums. Nevertheless, the quality and the range of exhibits is amazing.
The exhibition covers the period from Thracian times to 19th - beginning 20th century.
Family ticket costs just around 2 EUR.
Pay attention to a good choice of souvenirs at the entrance.

It is a very small museum, but full of interesting things to see! The icons exhibition is great. We also saw an exhibition of the beginning of Bulgarian photography.

A lovely place to while away the time. Plenty of Roman architecture alongside Bulgarian cultural items. Cost was a couple of Levs.. (less than 1 Euro) per person and well worth a visit.

This is a must see addition to any ski holiday in Borovets, the Roman exhibits alone are better than anything you will see in the UK, exquisite glassware and there is so much else associated with the location. The curators were excellent in greeting us and explaining the exhibits and general layout including winding the barrel organ wall clock. The icon gallery alone was worth seeing.
