Superb museum, full of beautiful pieces ranging from modern to ancient. The building is a stunning villa, worth going there just to admire the setting. Every room has comfy chairs so you can sit and admire the artefacts. For 2 Euro, 3 if under 65, this is an astonishing bargain.

An exhibition was being put together whilst we were there but what we saw was fascinating. I did think some of the ceramics were a bit overpriced in the local shops.

If you are already in Santo Stefano di Camastra, there is no reason to skip this museum. A collection of local ceramic art hosted in a nice building. Even better, it is free.

Sometimes the unheralded, small museums can become highlights of an afternoon. We were told by a shop owner to be sure to check out the Trabia Palace and it museum of ceramics and were happy we did. The museum has both some modern experimental work as well as traditional tiles and ceramics typical of this town’s history as ceramic center. Be sure to go upstairs to see the astonishingly beautiful tile floors.

The visit was interesting but the place needs better interpretation especially with languages. Everything is in Italian so the museum does not cater for non-Italian speaking visitors. The building itself is worth the visit if you are visiting this village.

One of the symbolic places in Italy that rivals Caltagirone in the artistic manufacture mostly ‘Craftsmanship of ceramics. For many centuries, as evidenced by this very interesting museum here has always followed the format of traditional models: well today I present two interpretations of the married couple according to a current vision that struck me for the vividness of colors (while maintaining the classic shapes)

I went with friends to visit this museum of ceramics, but personally you are very, very welcoming and professional personal pronoun. Recommendation to see it especially because Santo Stefano di Camastra is a fundamental place of ceramics!
