I visited Alta Alella vineyard with my wife, daughter and Catalan son-in-law (both ecologists) and my 7-month-old granddaughter. Alta Alella were putting on a tour in English, which was much better for me than Spanish ir Catalan. The tour took about 2 hrs. An hour and a quarter touring the vineyard, learning about the grapes and the soil and seeing how and where the wines were made. This was followed by a tasting of a range of wines: cava, natural wines and others. The tasting was fun and accessible whether you were really into wine or just a casual drinker. And there was plenty of water and non-alcoholic options for designated drivers. We got to taste some high quality wines at the top end of their range, and it was great to have the chance to try them. There is a shop at the vineyard so the option us there to buy wines but there was absolutely no pressure. All in all a great way to spend an afternoon. Even the baby had a great time! Thanks!

If you are in Barcelona and want to taste really good wine from a local vineyard, hop in a cab or take a short drive to this lovely vineyard and winery 30 minutes from the centre of the city overlooking the sea. A 20 euro tour includes a delicious tasting of a range of their excellent cava, white and red wines also available for purchase. Georgia, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and communicated her passion and understanding with zeal. Great way to take a break from the city.

We live in Allela and this is one of our prefer places to take visitors. The very first time we went there was a wine tour for kids, very educational for them. They learn how wine is made and had chance to drink delicious juice.
Our “degustación” was really good. With simple bit tasty snacks.
We’ve also went to a concert, which was really good. The food sold was ridiculous expensive and super tiny portions, but the concert and atmosphere was enjoyable.
I love the Alta Allella white wine, is organic, afordable and easy to drink

I was recommended this winery by a coworker and I am so thankful for it! This winery is absolutely beautiful. We were given a tour by Giorgia (who is absolutely amazing). She was kind and incredibly knowledgeable in the the winery, the owner, and the wine they were serving to us. They offer free water as well as a nut mix while tasting the wines. The winery was easy to get to, and they were kind enough to call a cab for us at the end.

We visited this winery after getting off our cruise. Our guide Georgi, was fantastic, very knowledgeable in every aspect of the winery. Gave us a 45 minute tour of the facility, and then we tasted 4 wines. 2 - Kava and then a white and a red. All of them were good, the white was a little bit better. Highly recommend this winery!

This is a hidden gem right outside of Barcelona. A quick 20 min taxi ride less than 40 euro to get there. Georgia was our tour guide and 100% worth it. Her knowledge of the grounds, grapes, and the wine process made it fun and inviting.

I will say that when arriving there isn't many signs and you have to be buzzed in through a large gate, and upon arrival the main older lady at the desk wasn't too friendly, but once in Georgia's car it was amazing!

Not a place to go early because there is not additional testing, or just buying a glass of wine before or after to "enjoy".

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Barcelona, and wanted to book a few things while we were here. We thought a wine tour might be fun and this was the first one we really looked at. It completely exceeded our expectations! First of all, we had an amazing tour guide. Gaurav Kalwani led our group through Barcelona, making stops along the way for us to take pictures, have a water break and explain local information and history about the city. On our way to the vineyard we stopped at a local market to pick up olives, cheese, and bread to have with our wine.

Once at the vineyard, our small group of 4 got to taste different wines and pair them with the food we had bought at the market. It was such an amazing experience. The perfect balance between biking and relaxing.

The staff at the vineyard and agency were both exceeding friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend taking this tour! It was our favorite experience in Barcelona.

We went on a wine tour with a French guide, who was very good. It was extremely exciting to hear about the process for making cava. And to see all the bottles. After the tour we tasted 6 different wines ... all very nice.
One thing though: We bought some bottle of cava and red wine. But but but ... we could have bought the same cava and wines in the city for a lot less :-(

Hello! thanks for your opinión and great to hear that you enjoy the tour. Regarding prices in the city, the fact is that we can't have prices lower than stores in the town as we must respect all of our distributor :) Best regards! Wine Tourism responsabile
