It is called the krs of north Karnataka. And is one of the best place to visit during monsoon and is well maintained.

Near to Hospet city and huge a reservoir. Other side not clearly visible. From the entrance it is ~2 km walk through nice curved road up to the clean, well-maintained view point. There is a to-fro bus service at minimal cost till view point, but walking is better I felt. There is a well-maintained garden as well to spend quality... More

Good views of the dam with the waters. Park and musical fountain are average - can be missed. Cannot read anything more about this place.

Great location. Take the bus up if you cannot walk for a km or so. Visit when there is a lot of water. Feel the fresh breeze and relax and unwind. Ideal for an evening outing.

Tungbhadra dam is about 15 kms from Hospete Town where we stayed. The road is good.One has to leave the vehicle in parking & go to the dam either in a bus arranged by the authorities or simply walk,which is less than a mile & quite pleasant.Dam was full in monsoon when we visited.While for obvious reasons,one cannot walk on... It's good but not that much time worthy, dam visit is good but in daylight,and park u can only enjoy in dark. Both cannot be possible together
