I visited this place in the background of sweet school day memories. Agreed - the entry to the Dam is more restricted due to perceived terrorist risk - we need to walk till the dam and nobody would mind that in the background of flowery plants around. We are not allowed in the main dam due to security concerns -... More

It was a nice evening at the dam. There is a little walk required, about 1.5 km to the dam from the vehicle drop point. The sun set view was wonderful. There is a small garden, a mini zoo and an aquarium also. The zoo and aquarium was not so great. There is a boating also, but we did not... More

We had 5 hours in our hand before catching the train back to Mumbai. So we decided to visit TBD. You can avoid visiting this place and rather spend more time in Hampi I suggest. We took bus from Hospet bus stand. It took around 20 mins to reach there. Buses are quite frequent, one can easily take this. Fare... More

It's a sign of valuable Indian engineering skills still preserved at its best. Lot of benches to have a panoramic view. There's a beautiful garden with musical fountain starting at 7pm and another show at 7.45pm every eve.
