Great Out Of Town Shopping Experience
We spent a few hours visiting the shops here. Great selection and something for everyone. Lots of well known names here and some brilliant bargains to be had. The gardens are beautiful to walk around in the spring and summer, extremely colourful. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy a coffee or have lunch. The only moan we have is that we thought the car parking prices were a bit steep. Many of these Outlet Shopping Centres offer free parking. Visiting during COVID the staff were very on the ball picking up discarded face masks and making sure everyone stuck to the one way system. Lots of sanitizers around to use. Excellent

    Great little play area
I took my 2 grandsons ( ages 2 and 6) here as we were camping locally and the weather was pretty awful. The campsite recommended the Adventure play area so we gave it a go. Was free for the 2 year old £8 for the 6 year old and £3 for me. We paid the extra £3 for the climbing wall. The boys had a great time, we did the JCB zone, climbed the tower, went on the little train, played in the sand / water at the little beach, searched for gold, played mini golf amongst the dinosaurs and the big one bounced around the treetop skynet. It was great value for money, wasnt crowded, staff were friendly and helpful and all wore masks and were suitably COVID aware.
Hi Jacqui, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a 5* review! We really appreciate it and are thrilled that you and your grandsons enjoyed your visit to Adventure Land. We hope to see you again soon

    Outlet shopping and snack
The Blue Diamond restaurant in the main building is excellent, great service, Covid management and good food, felt safe and relaxed at all times. A very good array of fashion shops, with some large discounts on goods, but beware, as some of these shops have lower prices on their online shops, so not always the bargain you thought. Although this didn’t put us off and we came back with several bags, when we only went for a coffee!!
Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm glad you had a successful shopping trip and hope that you will visit again soon. Best wishes Faith

I was on holiday in the area the car parking was horrendous in that they tell you to download a app to pay but there is no mobile signal to download the app how can you build such a big shopping centre and have no mobile signal installed. We tried to leave the car park by pressing the help button only to be told we would have to reverse out and go back in to pay.
Not enough information telling you how the car parking system works. Too much hassle would never visit again
The shopping itself is the same as all the rest round the country no bargains to be got. The home and garden was very good.

I visited The Parlour Restaurant for a girlie lunch today and sadly have to report it was a resounding thumbs down. Firstly, I would like to point out that the restaurant is tastefully decorated with an understated elegance and a charming ambience. The staff are patient and courteous. However, the food is expensive and disappointing. 3 of us chose from the brunch selection and one from the lunch. The brunch menu looks varied, but much is served on toasted sourdough bread, which is hard to cut and very dry. One of my friends selected the duck leg from the lunch menu. Quite a meagre plate, served with 2 small slices of sweet potatoes and a couple of slivers of beetroot, with what looked like a green glacier cherry, all for the princely sum of £15.95!

I hasten to add that this is my second visit. The first occasion was with my husband soon after the restaurant opened. On this occasion I had the the finnan haddie from the brunch menu. I was disappointed then too and mentioned to the waitress that the poached eggs were hard and the bechamel sauce non existent. I put this down to teething problems. Ironically one of my lunch ladies selected the finan haddie and sadly nothing had improved.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely I or my friends would rush back, especially after I had been disappointed twice. Such a shame, as the restaurant is so pretty and the staff are charming. I hope the restaurant manager takes note that the ambitious expensive menu needs to be revised and the food more edible and justify the price!

A really nice thing to do with having the Christmas lights on and allowing people to park for free and have a look around.
However we visited last night and to our surprise there were hundreds of people there. We queued the whole length of Springfields waiting half an hour to get to the front of the line and then having to walk behind a queue of people like we were waiting to go on a roller coaster to go around the lights which really put a downer on it for us as we couldn't enjoy it, you couldn't get any photos without many other people being in them and feeling rushed.
Social distancing definitely wasn't being adhered to and to say that we're in a 'lockdown' and all of these people being out together is crazy.
Starbucks and Costa closed at 6pm but Cafe Nero was open which was a bonus.

Good range of shops but the parking just ruined our trip.

Parking was £2 for the day but the queue for the car park pay machine was huuuge. We decided to download the app, register all out details to find out you needed to top up your account by £5 to pay on the app, there was no mention of this on the sign. So I walked to the car, strapped in the kids, and had to walk all the way back and join the queue. The queue did go down quick but why not mention on the sign that you need to top up £5 to use the app?

Hi Hayley, Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the shops but I'm sorry to hear our VIP app spoilt your trip, I will pass along your feedback to the team and hope that this can be resolved in the future.

I love Stamford for shopping - maybe my age but I hate places I’m cramped in and as I really do not need any more clothes , buying a discounted bargain doesn’t seem so bad. I always get on well in M&S - even if it’s just socks etc. I stock up with cards at the Hallmark shop : GAP for grandchildren clothes (some great deals here) : Radley have provided some great bags for presents especially my daughter in law; I prefer Costa coffee, so what if there is a queue - the day is mine and a bonus to sit outside if possible. Clark’s and Sketchers for trainers : Body Shop for their lovely soaps : Joules to hunt for harbour tops. I like going solo and also to introduce friends here. Even if busy ,it’s not manic mania. Garden centre is a draw too and staff so nice and helpful. I like my trips here.

Check out the website for a list of shops Small and well kept centre with some good price reductions to be found. Lovely garden areas and food outlets to grab lunch. Shops all adhering to covid restrictions plenty of sanitisers around.
Only gripe is that the outlet has a one way system walk to the left that is not clearly signed ( very small black and gold tied to lamp posts seem to be more worried about inkeeping with surroundings than making this clear and a few small arrows on the path ways ) Not good for visually impaired I have good sight and hardly noticed them. I witnessed a few mature couples get rudely shouted out in the crowd for walking on the wrong side by site men. In some parts queues outside shops doubled up clarkes being one so you are left to walk between the queue which is uncomfortably less than 2 mtrs away from others, one way does sometimes create more difficulties as people are forced into areas that become busy rather than being able to move to space.
Did get free parking token after buying items at the garden centre which was a bonus.
Starbucks needs a deep clean, only place that let's Springfields down .. no clean tables and dirt everywhere area place is too large for staff to maintain.

In the current climate of things changing everyday it's important to no that Springfields are taking social distancing and the importance of it very seriously. I would like to make a special mention regarding a member of staff Emma who greets you on entering and is very vocal on keeping everybody distanced and aware that they need to keep to the left on entering and the right on leaving. Very approachable and friendly. Gives me the confidence and assurance, I need to shop safely. A refreshing change to see someone take their job so seriously and genuine passion to look out for the welfare of others visiting.
Obviously not everyone has taken this on board, but i myself feeling very vulnerable whenever I go out, this reassures me alot.

Shopping and gardens..,..what more to enjoy! A nice mix of shops/cafes nicely laid out, with lots of parking. Unfortunately, you have to pay before exiting carpark (at machine at start of shops) unlike retail outlets here in the Northeast/Yorkshire which are free! However, their gardens are nice to have a walk around after all that shopping. Would recommend a visit if not been before.

I was extremely disappointed with Springfields.

The shops were good, we had a nice meal, we found the staff friendly and helpful. What let Springfield down was the parking. We did not see any information on how or where to pay. I assumed (as no information to the contrary), pay on exit and just show our blue badge - fairly normal procedure for shopping areas.

We returned to the car headed to exit, and couldn’t leave. I pressed the help button, explained the situation and was told “disabled have to pay”. I had to ask where the pay point was. Returned to the disabled parking. I had to search to find what appeared to me to be a bus stop, lots of advertisements on it but nothing to say it was a pay for parking point. Only when you got to the front could you tell it was a pay point. When I finally got to the pay machine, it would not take cash, the contactless wasn’t working and the card slot was so low, you had to bend in order to read the instructions.

What really galled me is I had to pay the princely sum of £1. All that aggravation for £1. GET A GRIP Springfield. Until they do, I will not be back

We traveled over an hour to get here from our holiday home and were not disappointed. The place felt very light and airy which is particularly important in these circumstances and a clear difference from the shopping centres I am used to.There was a good range of shops for all of the family. There were good reductions in the outlet shops. We were impressed by all the grounds and we purchased an ice cream which we were shocked to find were only £1 each! Car parking was plentiful, cheap and near to the centre and there were clean and free toilets.A good day trip for people of any age.
