Banke Bihari, the consciousness, the eternal love of all Krishna devotees. There is a feeling, a connection to this place which is very peaceful and calming.

The roads are bit confusing and you better take help of battery vehicles available. The food around the place is yummy.

Lords bal roop, child avatar. One darshan does not feel enough but have to make way for other devotees. This is Krishna's land, his temple and everything even the people are his and only his.

As is the case of most of the famous temples I have visited in the past like Jagannath Puri, Kali Maata Kolkata....Banke Bihari temple is no different in terms of management and hygiene.

Local touts and priests have made this holy place into a business hub. I think deliberately the management is kept poor so that these people can flourish. If there is no stampede like situation inside the main temple, there is no need for a backdoor entry which is promised by these touts for a petty sum of money. Really shame on these people. And the shocking part is that even the main priests inside indulge in all these activities by offering proper 'darshan' to the Lord.

On top of that, the crowd makes mockery of the Covid precautions.

Dedicated to Lord Krishna, the darshan and visit is soulful. not at all properly managed, yet huge number of followers.
the local transport would leave almost 300/400 mtrs away from the temple and you need to walk to the temple. beware of the thugs and pick-pocketers. lots of local people/pandit stand near the lane would ask you to take you to the temple for darshan - avoid them.

Be extra careful of money - they snatch your spectacles and will return only if u offer Frooti to them. In case they snatch your purse then its tough to get it back. The nearby shopkeepers in name of helping asks for huge money afterwards.

The temple has solid followers. Inspite of that the temple is not at all managed properly. No proper provision for keeping shoes. Inside the temple it is money which plays a role because if you can spend money you will be allowed to go right in the front, i. e. Till the place allowed. Might is right also plays a role in this temple. No management at all Rather to bluntly say a excellent temple with worst management. With the amount of money flowing it could have been an excellent temple.

Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Reaching temple is tedious, as lot of monkey's are their. You have to be extra careful. Street is very narrow due to which over crowding is their.

The temple is divine and u wil fell blessed.
The management us poor. The guards, the priests in temple try to fool you. They don't respect women. Money is what matters most. They will try to take money in any form.
The management do not follow any guidelines by govt. Its a chamber for spreading corona virus.
There is always rush but the management makes it even more worse.

Once you reach the temple complex the nearby area is flooded with chants of Radhe-Radhe. It is a splendid, magnificent, and mind-blowing experience. The premises get closed during afternoon hours and reopens after 5:30 pm in the evening. It is always very crowded and vehicles are not allowed after 5:30 pm. It is advisable to take E-rickshaw for the route.

If you are a Krishna devotee, visit this temple is a must. Stand in the queue, and soak in the experience of Krishna's love. Another unique feature of this temple, the Deity is only woken around 9 am, in consideration of Krishna’s night of Raas Leela which leaves him tired and in need of extra rest. Post this divine encounter one has to explore the renowned food and drinks of Vrindavan—jalebis with hot milk, lassi, ras malai, kachoris and scores of other delicacies. By far the most sought-after sweet is brej ka peda, made of roasted dry milk, sugar, ghee and cardamom. A popular offering for the Deity, peda is bought here in huge quantity for friends and relatives. You will also see so many shops of Krishna statues(Murti) and dresses (Poshaak). There's a big market which contains beautiful and adorable things related to Lord Krishna. It is a very attractive and awesome market.
