Review of: Selvatura Park Nature Tour in Monteverde
My 8 and 10 year olds had a great time. Very professional staff that followed safety and Covid precautions. Great food at the restaurant. You are in the middle of the rain forrest vs a more “commercial feel” which is a big plus vs others in the area.

Review of: Selvatura Park Canopy Tour
Zip lining/canopy is exhilarating, there are over 10+ tower stations which tour all across the park. One of those lines is 1 KM (0.62 miles long), which gives you an outstanding view and a sense speed across the forest. You can even do a Superman pose during that line. From that height and location you can even see the gulf. It is one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. There is also a Tarzan jump, in which you basically jump off a platform and swing. Security is always placed first and center here, so no worries. Guides are also outstanding at their jobs, cordial and funny. There is also a significant walking climb between some of the stations so be prepared to walk between a few of them. It is not just zipping across. There are also a tons of suspended bridges which allow you take a stroll through the entire park and enjoy the luscious and breathtaking landscapes. There is a hummingbird section in which you can appreciate and see them really close while they feed. Saw at least 20 or so. Restaurant was great as well, service was fast and the food was great. An important note in these times, there are sanitary protocols established at all points. Temperature is taken for all visitors, disinfecting pads for shoes and lavatories at the entrance. There is minimized contact and the menus are digital. Groups are small to adhere to social distancing. Would definitely come again!…

This was our favorite excursion of the whole trip! The vantage point provided by walking and flying through / above the cloud forest is unbeatable and truly a once in a lifetime experience. Selvatura has 8 suspended bridges of various lengths that take you in a loop through the park and provide an up close view of the gorgeous vegetation and wildlife in the region. The Canopy tour consists of 13 zip lines that also take you in a loop through the park (outside / wider than the suspension bridges). We signed up for a 4 hour tour, which included transportation to and from our hotel, and allowed for 2 hours of walking around the bridges and 2 hours zip lining with a guided tour. The zip line ended up taking about 2.5 - 3 hours, as there were about 20 people in our tour, and you have to wait for everyone to catch up to the guides that are leading the pack before moving forward from one zip line to the next (be sure to allow extra time for this activity in your day). My only complaint of the canopy tour is that once you start, there's no turning back, and the size of your tour group will determine how long the whole tour takes. Be sure to use the restroom right before and be confident that you can get over the fear of flying hundreds of feet above the ground, as it will be challenging if you're afraid of heights. That being said, we highly recommend this tour and experiencing the magic of both walking and flying through the cloud forest in Monteverde! …

My daughter had wanted to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest for a long time and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! We had been looking forward to seeing the hummingbird's and it was fantastic seeing them zooming around the feeders squabbling! Walking through the forest and over the bridges through the treetops was a totally sureal experience. We were amazed by the amount of different plants, birds and insects we saw. We also saw howler monkeys and several coatimundi. The views from the bridges above the forest canopy were just breathtaking. We both agree that this is the most beautiful place we have visited and will definitely be returning in the future to explore more of this amazing area.…
