Coffee'N Jungle Night Tour is a unique, different, instructive and fun tour. It is the perfect combination of Costa Rican coffee culture and the adventure of discovering wildlife in Monteverde.

In this tour, visitors will learn a lot about the whole process of coffee, cocoa and the sweet juice of sugarcane.

But Coffee'N Jungle is a tour that also deals with nature. That is why part of the tour is dedicated to exploring the forest at night. So we can be spectators of the wonderful concert that is performed jointly by several species of frogs and crickets while we witness the ephemeral works of art painted by fireflies with light brushes. And, with a little luck, we can observe other inhabitants of the forest, such as the lazy patient with two fingers or the elusive Kinkajou.

We just finished our night tour with Orlando. Such a great time! The information about coffee was so interesting & the walk to find animals was fun, even in the rain. We spent about 3 hours with Orlando & he was such a nice guy. Highly recommended.

Nice activity. We learnt a lot about coffee and we also have the chance to taste sugar cane and chocolate. So good!!! After the coffee and chocolate tour, we have discovered the night wildlife, a bit stressful and funny. We saw some frogs, several insects, bats, opossum, kinkajou and snake. Very good moment with a nice and funny guide. We recommend this little place.

This experience 100% lived up to the lofty rating! Orlando and his son were phenomenal guides - charismatic, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. They genuinely cared about providing the best experience for our group. Half the tour included learning about (and tasting!) different varieties of coffee, cocoa, and even sugarcane (including some DIY sugarcane juice). The second half was also incredibly fun - exploring the forest on the property equipped with flashlights as we searched for wildlife. Our group was fortunate to have our guides identify a sloth, coatimundis, and a viper, among other wildlife! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Monteverde.

Absolutely was pleasantly surprised by this tour. Did not know what to expect, except that previous reviews said it was an awesome tour. They were not lying. The two gentlemen who led it are so nice and knowledgeable. We learned so much about sugar cane, coffee and chocolate. My favorite part was walking through the jungle with flashlights and binoculars looking for all the nightlife critters. Got to see some pretty interesting animals! This is a great way to spend an evening in Monteverde.

This was quite possibly the best experience we had on the trip. Our guides went above and beyond, taking extra time with our tour group and sending people to run through the jungle to check hundreds of trees to find an elusive sloth for us to see and a fast moving tarantula and so many other animals. They were knowledgeable and had all sorts of fun facts about the native species. We loved sampling and learning about the coffee and chocolate. I left with dark chocolate covered espresso beans that were my favorite souvenir. Another highlight was using a machine in the jungle to make sugarcane juice from the stalks, then taking combining it with homemade moonshine for shots. Such a blast, couldn’t recommend more!
