Walter was awesome! We saw a sloth, birds, a pit viper and many insects. Walter was knowledgeable and very friendly. Ask for him!

I was a bit disappointed with this tour after having done another one with another tour company. The previous tour group had black lights, spotting scopes and a wealth of knowledge! (All for an extra 10-15$). We also saw quadruple the amount of animals, which obviously can be hit or miss depending on them. This being said, I felt like I needed to pull information out of Roy, as information was not given freely like previous guide. Often he would stop to socialize with other guides while we waited. I do not feel I learned a significant amount of information about the region and felt like I may have been walking around in circles on the SMALL enclosed property. The flashlights were given were barely bright enough to illuminate >3-5 feet ahead of you, let alone the trees (without the help of your guide). It’s up to you as to whether this is something that appeals to you.…

This tour was a huge disappointment and actually left me feeling unsafe as a solo female traveler. We spent about half of our time walking down a road past private homes, looking up at power lines to "spot a sloth". I see more nature on my drive to work. The worst part, however, was the fact that my guide was intoxicated. He was so intoxicated that a hint of his breath was nauseating. I was picked up at my AirBnb by the tour company in a shuttle, yet my guide felt it necessary to offer to "pay for my taxi" to get back. Sure, if I like the idea of not making it back to my place. Luckily a nice couple on the tour with me offered a ride back. Avoid this place.…

Met Anthony for the night hike - saw sleeping birds, tarantulas, pit viper, frogs and two sloths, which we would have never seen as two-toeds are nocturnal. Wear good sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight if you can. They also provide one for you if you don’t. Lovely experience. PS these are night hikes and not a zoo visit. Some commented that they expected to see X, Y or Z and were annoyed with the guide. Go to a zoo or buy a photo book next time ;-). …

Saw quite a few things and guide was knowledgeable and funny. However we started 20 mins late and finished 10 mins early. So tour was 1.5 hours. Not 2 hours as advertised. Also it is only $25 if you pay in cash. For card they add the tax and it becomes $28.
