What a fantastic tour! Our guide was so skilled and sharing information but keeping it light enough to not feel overwhelming or dense; he kept things moving at the perfect pace, with lots to see and do along the way. Our family of 4 learned so much about coffee, sugar, and chocolate. The tour was very family friendly and the guide was great with kids, but plenty of interest for adults too. I loved learning that the property has been a family farm for 4 generations, and only added tours 15 years ago. The sugarcane demonstration was given by the father of the family. These folks know what they're talking about! Only thing I would have liked better would be to spend a little more time in the sugarcane mill area; there was so much to see there but it went by so fast. I liked this tour so much I would even do it again. Highly recommend!

We've done multiple coffee/chocolate tours but this was one of our favorites. It was informative and fun, and the views were incredible. We especially loved being able to taste things at the end.

Family owned farm that commercially farms coffee and sugar cane and has demo plants of chocolate. Currently taking small groups on a walking tour around the farm. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about coffee in particular and you can tell he was gauging his talk to the level of interest of the group; I suspect he could talk your ear off for an hour on the history, uses, and varieties and methods of preparation if re willing to listen.

You get 3 in 1. Coffee, chocolate and sugar. Adults for 35 USD. Tour is really nice because you’ll learn all about these 3 things. And of course there is a lot more to discover. They show you all the process steps of producing coffee, chocolate and sugar in the old traditional way and the way they do it today. You can also learn all about banana and their way to the shops. I highly recommend this tour! Really nice.

This was a lot of fun! We learned so much about Costa Rican coffee and chocolate and sugar production. We even got to make our own sugar to take home. Our guide was excellent. He was very informative. At the end of the tour you are treated to a homemade snack by the plantation owner. Such a great way to sample true Costa Rican hospitality. And there’s plenty of coffee, chocolate, and handmade gifts to buy in the souvenir shop.
