Monteverde Costa Rica is one of the best areas where you will have the chance to learn about the cultivation and the processes, of how an authentic coffee that was used as far back as our grandparent’s generation is made. The tour was developed in an environment that stands out as one of the best in our culture and tradition; a tradition that has made this country one of progress and peace. The tour lasts for about 2 hours and it includes typical snacks and the option of an authentic home-made lunch.

Cool idea however the entire tour felt like it was scripted. The guide sounded like he was reciting a play book with no real interaction with the group tour. He wasn’t able to answer a lot of our questions about coffee and seemed just to...More

I did not really want to go on this tour because I don't like coffee or chocolate, but happy wife happy life :-) I ended up like it a lot, it was very cool to see how both coffee and chocolate are made.

A small plantation but a very interesting visit. Julio our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience not only educational but completely fun. Well worth a visit.
