You travel all this distance to have a view and yet when you arrive the sight seeing is not so great as much of the view is blocked by trees. Needs cleaning.

The hike to the 7 waterfalls is tough but it offers you some great photos and moments. It's a beautiful national park and a trek that'll stay with you.

My husband and I did the 7 cascades, it took us about 7 hours. It was quite difficult at some points to climb, but the views were well worth it. Not to miss!

Beautiful waterfalls, worth a visit. You usually see them while being taken on a tour. Worth a visit, remember your camera

We spent 12 days in Mauritius, it was our honeymoon. Besides the sunbathing and enjoying the beach we wanted to discover Mauritius a bit. We rented a car and head to the South, getting to Henrietta district (where 7 cascade is) was pretty straight forward....More

Most of tours have a bottom start, so I guess it's better from the bottom. You will be able to enjoy the top view at the end of climb .

I agree with Varsha479 we went down and then up and it gives you plenty of time to stop and admire and not to be so tired :)
