We did the half day tour with Raj adventure and had an amazing morning! The 4 cascades we saw were breathtaking and the hike was not too difficult for us. We were really happy with our guide Atish who is very knowledgeable, helps you with some more challenging parts of the hike and is simply a very warm and friendly guy who learned us a lot about Mauritius. Raj adventure is a family-owned business and you feel that! In the communication, in our wonderful guide and the delicious home-made snacks Shoba offers you after the hike. Don’t hesitate to book a guided tour here, you won’t regret it!

The guided tour was awesome, the guide is professional and knows the trail very well, and knows exactly how to guide us to walk safely. The trail is challenging and you must have a good guide. The guide was very patient and attentive to our requests and made sure that we all fully enjoyed everything the 7 waterfalls has to offer and that everyone would be completely satisfied.

Amazing place! Highly recommend the hike, reading comments before we went most said take a guide however this is really not necessary. Guides charge 1500 per person which is quite steep for just showing you a trail that is there already. There are some steep parts so not ideal for kids!

It was a challenging walk in a beautiful part of the country. There were many beautiful view points along the way. The pace was good - it allowed us to take rests and photos along the way. Swimming in the pools along the way was glorious way to cool off. It was fun and scary jumping off the falls into the pool. It was great to have Raj who was an experienced and organised guide. The delicious home cooked local snacks was the best way to end the day!

We highly recommend Rajadventures and guide Vikash. We managed to see all waterfalls and swim. Thanks to Vikash's experience we were able to hike with no problems. If you want to visit tamarind falls and have a good time, do not hesitate to contact this company!

We did the full day hike with Vikash through RajAdventures. It was very easy to book through WhatsApp to arrange the trip (+ 23059155178). We hiked to all of the waterfalls and swam in a few of them. Don't be tempted to go with an unofficial guide, the forest is dense and it would be very easy to get lost or hurt but Vikash made us feel incredibly safe. Great lunch and snacks were provided during the hike, all topped off with a cold beer at the end at their family home!

Amazing place to visit, we walked the 4 waterfalls on a relatively easy trek (with some steep climbs) thanks to Mervin from Rajadventures (+23059155178). Plenty to time to soak in the views and have a swim in the waterfalls! The family invited us back for some refreshments too. Very friendly family-run business, would highly recommend!

We had an amazing hiking experience with Raj Adventures (WhatsApp: +23059155178) They are a family run tour company who take pride in hospitality and providing a safe and memorable experience. We did the half day tour. Our guide was Atish, he took us through a challenging but beautiful trail to see 4 stunning waterfalls. The views were incredible. He made sure we were ok all the way through, shared lots of interesting facts and happily took pictures of us. We trekked behind a waterfall which was stunning and swam under one. After our swim Atish gave us some delicious and refreshing pineapples and lychees grown by themselves. Once we completed our hike we were taken back to their home and given the chance to freshen up and change. Their home was lovely and very clean. Shoba provided us with towels and bags to put our dirty clothes. We then enjoyed some delicious home made snacks and cold drinks. Honestly do not go on the hike by yourself or with random guides. Safe pathways can only really be known by experienced guides, it is not worth taking the risk. Especially if it’s really hot or if the floors are slippery it can be really dangerous! This was one of the most memorable experiences we had while visiting Mauritius. We booked with Raj Adventures and took our 5 kids (ages 15 - 2) and hiked the waterfalls and swam in the pools. It was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend getting a guide. While there is a trail, it’s difficult to find and you’re going to miss great picture opportunities, places to jump off the falls, and where to swim and where not to swim. Raj was so helpful and supportive the entire time. He guided my 8 year old daughter through the sometimes steep and precarious trail, helping her know where to place her foot or grab a tree. He showed me a 20+ foot jumping spot at the last waterfall that was pretty epic. I carried my 2 year old in an Osprey toddler carrying backpack on my back. You will need to be in decent physical shape to do this hike. It’s not easy, but it’s not hard either. There are steep parts but you just need to take it slow. Our kids loved it!
