I lived in Gallarate in 2014 an used to hang out at route 66. Loved the Americano theme an all the bikes on the walls etc. The apperitif was plentful an seemed very busy in the evenings. Sadly in 2018 things have changed-its still good dont get me wrong but not as the photos show on here. Its another trendy Italian bar which is cool-but didnt have the volume of people as before an I dont know if this is from the change of style or I was just unlucky to see it quiet.

I'm a regular customer of this place since when I was 16, here I always enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks & food. The venue has freshly re-opened in August 2013 with important changes about the look (inside and outside), the owner and the staff. The environment is happier now, with a lot of smiles and professionality behind the counter, and even around the table with its beautiful waitresses. What about the menu? Honest prices, big variety of tasty cocktails, good choice of meals with many kind of burgers, fish & chips, sandwiches and piadine; the aperitif is well furnished and it usually lasts from the opening until 9pm. Inside the venue there are three spacious rooms to sit down, with comfortable chairs & couches, you can even sit down on stools at the counter. Outside looks very nice and spacious, good to chill out during spring and summer. What to say more, if you bump in Italy and you're staying in Gallarate and its surrounds you cannot miss this place, you could have an amazing night and make good friendships!
