During our stay in Torri Del Benaco, we decided to take the ferry across to Maderno to explore. Luckily we stumbled across this little gem as we were walking along the lakefront and it was the highlight of our day in Maderno (there doesn't seem an awful lot to do or see if you visit by foot). What was so great about this church was that right by the entrance there were guide leaflets that were absolutely crammed with the history of the place including the art as well as the building which only asked for a donation of €1 - bargain! It was brilliant to be able to learn more about such a beautiful space.

A beautiful church opposite the Lakeside. Here you can see the epigraph of Saint Lawrence Chapel (Lorenzino)

Sure, it's another church. But this one is really old and worth a visit while you are in the main piazza. It's not always open as is common for some Italian churches.

This one and the earlier and much smaller one behind are well worth a visit. Beautiful paintings on the walls.

We visited this church some years ago and on this visit it had not changed. A very unusual church in its design. Its tucked away in a corner of Maderno.
Well worth a short visit

This is a very pretty church, but is absolutely typical of an Italian Catholic church to the English observer. It's well worth a visit, but if you have already been in lots of other churches you won't find anything very different.
