Don't miss it! This beach is amazing, with crystal blue colours and clean waters it is an amazing place to go for a swim. There are some places that provide chairs/umbrellas, some of which are a bit pricey (there are some options with reasonable prices). We visited during high season, so we had to wait a long time to get into the ferry (we had a car), around 1.5 hours, but I must admit it was well worth it.
I will be visiting again next year for sure.

Taking off one star because there is no space for nudists/naturists despite the fact that the beach is big enough to accommodate everyone. It's very sad that nudists are increasingly pushed out of the best Greek beaches. Tourist destinations in Greece should be more inclusive and diverse.

Crystal clear, warm waters with soft sand. The water almost glows an amazing Aegean blue. The sea was very warm and comfortable. Beach was very clean. There are two areas which provide and chairs, umbrellas and food service for a cost but well worth it. Worth the drive and ferry to get there!

This is not a world class site. Road access is well below par, parking is inadequate for more than six cars. Tourism operators have left broken infrastructure to clutter the beach during the off season. Two rubbish bins overflowing with rubbish have not been emptied, so rubbish is strewn everywhere. The beach is pretty enough but the so- called pink sand beach is an advertising gimmick. One could cover that patch of sand with a picnic blanket. The water quality is clear and would be lovely for snorkeling if there were any marine life to see.

Long stretch of sand with dunes and zero shade...Clear blue waters with very pleasant temperature.
During July & August it is highly recommended to get there early...like around 11 am as after 1 pm it gets really crowded in the areas close to the camp. If you would walk few minutes from that spot there is always place for a tent, which is an absolute must to avoid the sun.
Ideal place for a night swim or to ride waves on a windy day.

A must visit beach!

Beautiful beach with fine sand. Crystal clear and transparent waters. Too bad the wind was felt on the day of the visit. The beach has two water fronts separated by a strip of sand. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available. (expensive).
The beach still a litle wild.No Bars or restautants on the beach

The beach is terrific as well as the sea. One of the most beautiful you will visit in Greece. So why 1 star it?

Because some people are the worst. In the morning the beach is littered with all kinds of garbage: destroyed umbrellas thrown away, plastics, smoked cigarettes, deflated sea toys... It's really sad to see such a beautiful place being treated like this.

If you enjoy yourselves why treat it like garbage? It definitely deserves your respect.

Apologies for my bad English. It's not my native language and I feel a bit emotional right now.

Only - full of soft sand and light blue waters. No rocks and stones. Best location is the Buddha bar area in small Simos. Reserve the large bed (need to book 1-2 days prior), order Corona extra and play backgammon. This Greek vacation, at its best!!

Stunning beach; long, with soft white/pink sand and calm shallow waters.
very reminiscent of some of the best beaches in the Caribbean.
Several bars rent beach chairs and provide snacks and drinks.

This is one of those places that you will fall in love with. The white fine sands and azure colour sea is just stunning.
This is very organised becah with sunbeds and parasols ut there are spaces for you to pitch up your own items... Its also very busy during summer but if you go to other becahes on the island there are no people around and you can have the becah to yourself. Kato nisi is on the other side and just as prettty,
