Blue Mountain is an estate dedicated to producing complex wines, consistent in style and quality from year to year. Located at south end of the valley with 31 hectares of vines planted, the property supplied grapes to other wineries for 21 years before the Mavety family founded the winery in 1991. In addition to Pinot Noir, the 12,000-case yearly production consists of Gamay Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and a méthode traditionnel sparkling wine, all from estate grown grapes.

A bit out of the way, but believe me it's worth the trouble, especially if you like good quality sparkling wines. Theirs are Champagne quality and very dry. Very good white wines as well. The service was also very good - very friendly and helpful (We were rather perplexed by the comments of the last reviewer). Highly recommended.

If you are visiting Liquidity Winery and Bistro, travel further along Allendale to the Blue Mountain Vineyard. Keep the faith, there really is a vineyard at the end of this country drive. You will probably be able to sample one of their famous bubblies, and I doubt you will leave without a bottle or two. They have no restaurant, but... More

We did a little OK Falls tour over the weekend and I will not be recommending Blue Mountain Winery. Ever. To anyone. Average wines, rude, disinterested, dismissive staff (when I mentioned it to a few industry friends they knew EXACTLY who served me) and it was the first time I have ever been charged for a tasting as an industry... We visited here to pick up some of their white wine as we couldn't find it anywhere in Kelowna. The views on the drive up were worth it alone. The wine tasting was fantastic and Chantelle was very very friendly and well informed on the winery. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

The wines of Blue Mountain Vineyard are exceptional. I have been a regular taster of their wines over the last 20 years or so. I am always amazed at the quality of their offerings. Unfortunately, I rarely get the same impression every time I go to their visitor's center. Not the friendliest and accommodating tasting centre in the valley. Since... More

We bought quite a few bottles of wine from this lovely vineyard. The area is very pretty and worth the drive. The person serving us was very knowledgeable.

Neat little placed tucked away and a bit of a challenge to find, but WAY worth it! I visited recently with some friends from the North, who I call the Northern Boys. They love it here! Got some great photos overlooking the vineyard that I will cherish for years. My friend, known as the Country Boy Wonder, brought along his... More

Outstanding Pinots and bubbly. Gamay Noir continues to impress. This family run vineyard sets the bar so high for the industry that if you find something equally delightful , grab it!!

Very out of the way but have loved their Pinot Grigio for sometime. Wanted to see their Winery. Worth the drive. Very nice hostess. The road to the Winery is not very well marked so you have to watch for it.

This was our second trip to Blue Mountain! It is a beautiful winery with a beautiful view! When we were there they had 2 of their sparking wines available for tasting, which was very fun. They make a lovely Gamay Noir, which I have purchased on both visits.
