About
Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum (WHAM) is located in one of Waterford's best known industrial landmarks: The Pickle Factory. The museum collects and exhibits objects related to the history of Waterford, ON and the former Townsend Township, as well as the agricultural history of Norfolk County. We aim to offer a vibrant public space where community members can gather to learn, to create, to discuss, to perform, and to socialize.

Popped in here while visiting local area after finding reviews online - glad we did!
Small museum with 2 large rooms with displays and information all about the history of the local area and the town of Waterford. Free to enter (donation - you will be happy to make one after visiting and it supports the place to keep going!)
A lot of artefacts and old farm machinery to see. Well worth an hour of your time!

This little Museum sure makes a big impact, very well laid out and brings the history of the community to life. I helps you to understand the importance of the history of small town Ontario in
Canada and its contribution to the making of this nation.
Most definitely worth a visit.

A small town with an incredible museum. I am still in awe and blown away to find this. I highly recommend the "local food movement" to visit this one of a kind agricultural museum

Inside an old pickle factory, hides this wonderful little place chock full of information about the agricultural history of the reason. There are both travelling and permanent exhibits here; when we went there was fabulous, if not spooky, exhibit featuring a 3D storytelling of a Canadian nurse during World War One. Many exhibits are interactive and informative without being overwhelming. The admission is as much or as little as anyone wishes them to be; I recommend this for anyone!

Here a place you don't want to miss if you appreciate history. A well laid out museum with some very interesting and intriguing displays. Norfolk should be proud of this place!

Besides the agricultural equipment, there were numerous items from the late 19th and early 20th century, including buggies, sleds, agricultural products, blacksmiths' stuff, etc.

The displays are interesting and provide lots of historical information. Each area shows unique items and fine old pieces of history. We also picked up some brochures of other Norfolk destinations.

In agricultural Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada, no finer museum is available. Tremendous quality of displays, great original implements & tools of historic significance, exhibits of farm life, ladies dresses, clothing, people, tractors, etc. You can purchase excellent books and memorabilia at modest prices and there is also some simple food, snacks and drinks at low prices.
