2 night Sydney trip itinerary help.... (6 Replies)
Hi there, Two of us (myself and another female) will be going to Sydney for 2 nights in February 2011, we will be arriving on Friday evening and leaving Sunday evening and will be staying on Pitt Street. I would really love help with the itinerary, this is our second trip to Sydney so we have already seen the initial touristy stuff except Mrs. Macquaries Chair, Watsons Bay and Wooloomooloo so we would really love to visit those places this time. As well as visiting those things we would...More

Some great harbourside walks: -Manly to the Spit -Balmoral beach to the zoo The eastern suburbs are nice, but you cant really do much walking along the water as its all private property. There's a walk from Rose Bay-Nielsen Park that has some nice views; also Watson's Bay-South Head You can walk from Kings Cross station, down through Potts Point to Woolloomooloo, up the stairs to Mrs Macquarie's chair, through the gardens and into the city You'll love the new westfield sydney if...More

I am planning to visit Chatswood Chase, and maybe Birkenhead Point. Can anyone recommend one or two other nice new large malls? I have been to Sydney a couple of times, but have only visited Westfield Bondi Junction back in 2005. Thanks :-)

I like Chatswood. In addition to the Chase, there is also a large Westfield only a minutes walk away. I agree that you should check out the Westfield in town as well.
