My favourite beach on eastern suberbs. This is tiny stretch of sand between rocks and clifs. Waves around are crazy so watch it

We walked to Tamarama Beach as part of our walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach. This is a walk of about 7km return with many steps and much up and down. The Tamarama Beach is smaller and in between the locations mentioned above. It is a smaller beach and seems to be just right. There were swimmers in the... More

Tamatama, sometimes called 'Glamarama' because of the beautiful people who visit there. Though a small beach, it has a large sandy area and a large park attached for a place to have a picnic. There are shelters, playground activities for the kids, a cafe and shower/toilet facilities. Being on the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk it is easily accessible and... More

Just a short walk away from Bondi beach you can escape the crowds at Bondi beach here, but dont let the diminutive nature of the beach fool you - it has rip tides and is often closed to swimming. Big plus if you are passing through on the Bondi to Coogee beach is the excellent Tama cafe if you want... More

We have often been to Tamarama as part of the coast walk. For us from Bronte to Bondi. B to B not B&B. The beach is beautiful and surf excellent. We regularly see some topless bathers there which seem to be tolerated and not too obvious. The Sculptures by the Sea exhibition is held in Oct/Nov between Tamarama and Bondi... More

This is a lovely sandy beach area, with lifeguards on duty and plenty of surf. Nice cafe and plenty of area to sit and relax. Also dog friendly based on how many were down there today
