The waterfall is a very quick and easy hike from the main road and absolutely worth it. Breath taking views of the Black Forest throughout the quick journey to the falls. Beautiful vegetation. The falls themselves are stunning. Absolutely worth the stop. Wish I had...More

Todtnauer Wasserfall are nice place to take a short and calm walk. it wasn't very impressive, maybe due to the season, but the place itself with the benches below the waterfall is very nice. it is not a place to go to specially but if...More

We stopped at the Todtnau Waterfalls on our tour of the Black Forrest. From the parking area it was a nice little hike to the falls (maybe 10-15 mins). Well worth a stop!

The Wasserfall was advertised everwhere, so I thought it may be over hyped. When I went, it was amazing! Definitely worth it. I love the wood benches that overlook the waterfall and the mountain. Nice touch!

hidden jewel in Black forest. just stop when getting down to Todtnau when you see a lot of cars parking on the road side. it is about 10 minutes walking, among huge trees of old forest - and suddenly you see the amazing view of...More

The Waterfalls are beautiful with nice paths. There is also a High Ropes course 1/2 way up. The waterfall entrance is in the town, so many places to eat and tourist shopping. Fun day.

We parked on the road a couple of km from Todtnau village and from there it was just a 600m walk to the falls. The walk itself is incredible with lovely views of the valley. The waterfall is pretty spectacular and you can dip your...More

We were with two boys 3 and 6. Both enjoyed easy walk to see the waterfall, but instantly wanted to get into the water. At the foot of the waterfall it's a bit crowded so we went down few bridges (3-4), and there was a...More

Not a hard walk. Can be done with young kids - there are 2 ways, and at every point you can turn back. It is lovely and clean.

Have you instructed the weather to accord with your itinerary? In my view it is sheer madness to have such a detailed itinerary when the weather can be so changeable. By all means have a wish list, preferably longer than the total number of days would allow, of things you might do on a hot and sunny day and of things that you might do on a wet and not so hot day. If you are lucky you will get more sunny days than wet, if you are unlucky every day will be wet. Also, you just show your...More
