Although it wasn't the tourist season when we came to Tabarca we still really enjoyed the beautiful views of the coast. I also was particularly happy to see many cats living there, although they didn't seem to trust people. I hope to go there again.

Lovely boat trip from alicante to this small pirate island. It's nice to start your walk towards the lighthouse and then walk towards the other side of the island and find a nice place to eat. There's a nice playground near the restaurants too. Beautiful...More

My husband and I visited the Isla de Tabarca last week whilst in Alicante. Probably not the best time of year to visit, as the weather was quite poor; however from what I saw I am not sure it would be better in the summer...More

We took 2 kids under 10 and had a great day. We walked around the cliff tops, spotting the wildlife, then took a stroll through the tiny beautiful village before decamping for the afternoon on the beach. Our eldest thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling. Worth taking the...More

This is a small island chain. It is sparsely populated but there are some nice restaurants and cafes. We sat outside a lovely friendly cafe at the rear of the main street. This is the perfect place for a spot of snorkelling with many varieties...More

The Isle was a bit of a let down. Good trails to walk around but no where to sit for those who are elderly or disabled. Paths down to water are loose rocks with no steps or handrails. Many places were benches could be added...More

We had a wonderful day travelling to the island with my two grandsons, we went on the ferry boat. The weather was very hot and we snorkelled in the warm clear water. We had lunch in a small restaurant .

Although we very much enjoyed our trip to Tabarka unless snorkelling or dining out I would not recommend more than half a day there. We caught a speedy water taxi which was €10 return, with hindsight we wished we took the glass bottomed boat for...More

Yes, it is a small public parking at the port next to where the Tabarca boats operate. And another one, larger, at the pier around 2-300 m away. Both at reasonable cost.
