The long drive out is worth some of the bumps along the way. There is a small sign « Faro de Santa Pola », on the right side of N332 going north. Parking is easy. The viewing area has an enormous modern bridge that goes out over...More

I like it here. The views out to sea and Tabarca are good, and the breeze is welcome in the heat. Yes, there's rubbish strewn about, but don't let that spoil it. The new "skywalks" don't add anything at all - they don't even overhang...More

The area around the lighthouse has boards explaining the geology of the area. There are two sky walks that allow you to walk out and see the cliffs below. Later in the day there are usually paragliders in the sky above adding colour to the...More

The Faro de Santa Pola is not only the Faro. After adding “steel balconies” on the side of the cliff you’ll have spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Also the entire plateau is filled with bike paths, running tracks and more.

I enjoyed the walk, and the view at last was really good, but wasn't anyway what I expected from it. The area was not very clean or well-kept, I didn't like so much.

This is a hidden gem!! Between Santa Pola and La Marina off the N332 (opposite the power station) is the most beautiful area of Santa Pola. If you're travelling from Guardarmar or La marina look out for the power station on the left and the...More

4km off the N332, down a single track, is the lighthouse which is secured with a perimeter fence. As it was a cold day we didn't venture to the sky walk nor did we see any signs for it, so must return. All along the...More

Bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. We parked at the old windmill (no sails) of the 332 and walked up to lighthouse doing a bit of birdwatching. Great views over Tarbarca island. This is a wonderful structure but little advertised and seems...More

After eventually finding the narrow road off the N332 which leads up to the viewing platform at the lighthouse, we were pleasantly surprised to find what I believe is called the "Skywalk" viewing platform. From here you get tremendous views not only down to the...More

Park up just by the lighthouse and walk to the skywalk, take good walking shoes or trainers as rough ground. You get great views of Tarbarca and surrounding area. The sky walk is great but not good if you are afraid of heights!
