Saturday morning coffee and cake stop which was quite disappointing. Scones displayed uncovered in a very busy location so bad start. £0.90 for a tiny pot of jam was expensive and the scone was quite dry. Coffee was from a press button machine rather than made barista style. In addition the café was noisy with uncleared tables. Not an experience... More

We visited on our way to and on our way back from the Black Isle. Fantastic choice of all sorts. Men's clothing section has a wide range of all clothing, and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The restaurant has a fine selection breakfast bacon and egg rolls delish! Lunch enjoyed salad and fresh poached salmon. A wonderful place... More

We were on a coach trip with our theatre goers group. There were over 20 ladies who all wanted to visit this establishment having ordered clothes from their catalogue. However we were told by our coach driver that coaches are turned away and we could not visit. They did themselves out of a great deal of money as all of... More

The House of Bruar is a fantastic place to stop for lunch and to have an explore. The food is wonderful and the restaurant is clean and well appointed. The shop itself is a must see and whilst the prices aren't cheap the quality of goods is second to none and there are bargains to be had. I highly recommend... More

The House of Bruar is such a beautiful place! There's so much to see inside as it's a very large place indeed. The price tags are quite high, but so is the quality of the items sold here. It's like Mary popping's bag, so much larger on the inside. There's a very welcoming atmosphere here too which is a nice... More

First trip to Perthshire in a long time and decided to treat myself to a bottle of gin or two from House of Bruar. I went into the alcohol section and was immediately greeted by a member of staff who was friendly and polite. I was checking out the gins and some of the brands were unfamiliar so I asked... More

This place was recommended by a hotel owner as serving the best soups in the area, so we headed off to check it out. Yes, the soup was very yummy and piping hot.

We stopped in at the House of Bruar on the way between Inverness and Edinburgh for lunch and to try and find a gift for a family member. While we only succeeded in the former, the shops of the area were enjoyable to walk through and we were able to find a number of other items of interest to purchase.
