About
Dino Parc Râșnov is the biggest dinosaur theme park in Eastern Europe, an unique and special project in Romania. Constantly we are considering to improve, and this year we developed a new area in our park with dinosaurs and prehistoric animal that lived on our territory, in Hațeg more specifically. It has a lot of particularities, but the most important are the 100 dinosaurs. Each one of them has a scientific certificate, according to the latest palaeontologists’ findings. The dinosaurs are reproduced in natural size, on a 1 to 1 scale. They are made of fibreglass and a special resin, having a guarantee for 50 years. Another very important attraction in our park is Seismosaurus, the biggest dinosaur that ever lived on planet Earth and it has 45 meters long. More than that, there is a chronological route to visit them, with sounds, lights and interactive panels with very interesting information regarding dinosaur’s life and behaviour.

All the signage was clearly written in 3 languages so we were able to read all about the dinosaurs we were seeing. Great way to spend a morningVisited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 2, 2024

You can find a train tractor there that will take you up to the park for 10 lari or go up on foot. 5 minutes on it without a problem. In the park you will find a small ropes park, playgrounds, lots of dinosaurs, children's games, amusement facilities scattered throughout the park and more. If you're done, you can visit the nearby castle (another 10 minutes on it). Our 5yo son was delighted by the dino tour by night, camp fire, 9D cinema and sleeping in a tent. The staff was very nice and explained everything to the kids and also made sure that everyone has everything that was neededVisited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 17, 2024

Went here due to all the positive reviews and left really disappointed.
High rope course was closed, two cinemas cost extra on top of the entrance fee. Was just a walk around with dinosaurs each with info which the kids soon got bored of reading.

Amazing really. Lovely park. Welcoming and large with loads to see and do, it is verry spacious and offers an array of activities. The chindren loved it and the 9D movie experience is a must try. However 1 in 3 aldults was a smoker. There are no assigbed places for smoking so all children where exposed to the smell of cigars and vaping. People ingnored all signes and set their children on dinosaurs models even if it cleary said not to. We had to climb which was a lovely walk until someone decided everyone climbing should passively smoke. Passively smoke waiting in line, going to buy something, or just sintting in any random place. Sorry but it is not fair that a place created for children should have such poor organization. It is a pitty as it is lovely.

Lots of fun, not just for kids! As two grown-up friends, we worried that the Dino Parc might not be for us: The parc definitely aims for the young crowds with lots of fun and activities, but the dinosaurs spread throughout the park are well made and impressive also for the adult visitor. There's information boards that give plenty of interesting facts and there are some great photo opportunities too. Had a great couple of hours in the park!

As an adult, I enjoyed the walk through the beautiful forest more than the dinosaur displays. The life-size dinosaur replica was really cool to see. The "9D" movie experience was okay. Children seemed to really enjoy it. Prices for everything were very affordable.

We liked Dino Park very much. We decided to spend one day here for our 6-year-old son during our 9-night Romania tour. Our son loved this place. There are statues and toys of all dinosaur species inside. There are also various activities for children. Before you come to Dino park, you park your car in the parking lot downstairs, then there is a 500-meter hill and you walk up this hill and come to the park entrance. If you don't want to walk up the hill, tractors take you out.

Beautiful location and amusement park. Unfortunately the young ladies at the icecream shop need to learn a little bit of customer service. They were very offended when I commented on the fact that the icecream shop is closed 30 minutes before the park closed. They specified they need to go home when the park closes and didn’t even want to make a 2 minute exception and sell my kids three slushees. That was our last interaction with the park and left us with a bitter taste. As the only food selling option in the park I think it should be open as long as the park is.

If you are in the Brașov area wanna see something cool with the kids, this is the place. You can get to the citadel of Râsnov by lift or with the car, but the lift is awesome with a great view. And Dino park is behind the citadel. It’s a walking park, probably about 2 kilometers long. My kid loved it and to be honest I did too. Its a bit expensive if you spend a hole day in the parc, if you do all the activities and buy some toys, but is worthy if you and me.

Nice visit for kids of all ages, from 2 to 90.
The dinosaurus are very nice and life-like. Especially the ones that moves and roars are a nice surprise. They improved a lot since my last visit 3 years ago. They now have a nice replica of a vulcano with smoke and lights and a platform that simulates an earthquake. Very nice 3 hours spent in the woods chasing dinos and magic trees. The aventura ride was closed because the COVID 19 pandemic and that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

What is the rough amount of time needed in the park to see all the sites?
Thanks
