The summer of 2018 is an exceptional one, we have got great weather the whole summer. We took a water taxi to get here. There are almost no cars on the island, one can rent bikes everywhere. Great place in every way to unwind

Great place where it is possible to see in 1 day very different landscapes. The ferry can be a bit expensive but it is worth. Recommended for hiking activities

Hiddensee is, fundamentally, unspoilt - that is until the tourists arrive when it is over-crowded.......and whilst there are no cars, there are hundreds of bikes speeding along the bumpy roads so you have to constantly be alert otherwise you'll get knocked over

With no cars and only bikes this Island is a gem! Leave your blackberry, iPhone, laptop at home and just bring your family and friends. A week on the Island is a cure for a year of corporate living!

The island of Hiddensee has to be one of the world's best places to get away from it all; best perhaps visited during the off-season, it has everything that can turn a vacation into a time to recuperate. But please, stay on the island overnight...More
