We went here after looking for trips suitable for younger children. This one was suggested to be suitable for children over 6. I’ve been canoeing on grade 4/5 rapids before and so not a fearful individual but with children your desire for danger/ excitement evaporates....More

Went here recently to find at least 70/100 people waiting to be bused up to the start, It's very disorganised, only French is spoken in the quick safety briefing you get from a young girl speaking very fast. There are 3 sets of rapids worth...More

We are sorry, it is really important for us that our foreign customers get the same level of information than our french compatriots. We don't understand why you didn't get the english speech about the Classic descent which explains how to paddle (especially in rapids),...More

Mind blowing setting, the Herault river is perfect to go canoeing. Staff are welcoming and competent, gear is varied and of good quality, and they have different offerings according to difficulty levels. I strongly recommend!

We are really sorry for your bad experience on the river. You might haven't well been adviced about the chosen trail. The 12km trail is indeed only for kids (and adults) who really feel at ease in water, because canoe can capsize in some rapids...More

We visited Canoe Rapido earlier this week and really enjoyed our time on the Herault River. The office where you pay is located in St. Guilhem le Desert. Parking is really tricky as a number of canoe/kayak operations are based there and there are lots...More

Friendly staff and a very easy launch point. Just up the river was the "cano bar"where you could dock your canoe and get drinks server on tables in the water. Kids loved it and so did the adults.
