I went back to Flatford Mill several times. Often just walking along the river, and through to another village. The peace, and beauty is incredible and I'd wished that I was an artist when seeing other artists painting.

This is a must visit place, the walks are very nice and scenic, there are short and longer walks to suit all. This is Constable country where you can just sit for hours and relax in this tranquil setting. Dogs will love the walks.

We never knew that Flatford mill was as good as it is - beautifully preserved properties and amazing to stand in locations Constable painted from.

This is a very peaceful place to visit with the scene little changed from when Constable painted the Hay Wain. We followed the footpath signs to do a circular walk around the area and then went on another walk along the river. This is a...More

The NT car park is free for members. However I think there’s also disabled parking.
