Hired a bike for the day to cycle part of the famous ronde. Staff was very friendly and helpful, my bike was ready to go on arrival, changing room and shower facilities very good also. Enjoyed my ride and the bike performed wonderfully. Recommend this experience to anyone.

A good audio available in English but little else translated except at end comparison of men and women in cycling. Great exhibits but need explanation in English for me. Some space dedicated to women cycling but lacking in detail of some of the greats eg Marianne, even femaleTour winners not updated since 2018. Great for men less so women. Nice cut outs of some cyclists but who are they?

Great small museum about cycling with many high quality and interactive exhibits especially given the size. We had to whole place to ourselves that day. The cafe wasn't anything special but the store had lots of interesting cycling stuff. Worth a visit.

Visited as an easy side trip from Gent (Direct train takes approx 30 mins). The museum is housed on the ground floor and basement of a very modern building. Upon entering the basement you start your visit in a triple screen viewing room where a film giving a flavour of the race history is shown. Then into the museum itself where the history of the Tour of Flanders is told from it's start til present day. The exhibits ranging from old racing cycles to a signed Fabian Cancellara jersey. Various Trophies are housed in well lit glass cabinets. There are screens showing clips from the race. Interactive quizzes and even a couple of fixed cycles to "ride" the course. Some of the exhibits have English translations, the majority don't, but no problem as we were given a folder to take round with English translations. We spent over 2 hours looking round, I'm positive anyone with an interest in cycle racing will love this place. If you're lucky ex world champion Freddy Martens will be around, - we were, and had a chat and he didn't mind having photos taken. All the staff were extremely friendly and informative. There is a bistro/bar attached, also worth a visit, with a display of TdF photos and racing jerseys.

We visited the Ronde Van Vlaanderen centre on while bike packing through France, Belgium and The Netherlands.
Staff were warm and friendly offering great advice on our trip going forward.
The shop was well stocked with lots of various mementoes, clothing and bike parts.
The tour thought the museum was well worth it.

We visited this museum on July 9. There is free parking behind the museum (the street name is "De Ham"). The tickets you get after paying the entrance fee or old postcards with famous Belgian cyclist. The entrance fee includes a free drink (value 2,6€) at the Peloton Café and 10% of the their Shop.
The museum is in the basement (elevator or stairs). The first part is a temporally exhibition about bicycles and the history of cyclist in the Great War. This exhibition is in 4 languages (Dutch, French, German and English). The main part is about the Tour of Flanders. You will learn how and who it started, the different routes, the influence of the weather and the great winners.
Unfortunately the main part is only in Dutch. There are audio guides but we did not use them.

First of I would highly recommend checking the museum out if your a casual cycling fan or a fanatic!
The museum is very interesting and informative however the cafe has its problems.
It’s decorated with really nice care and a good cycling theme.
But the food....I ordered a ham sandwich. A ham sandwich.
What arrives if very different to the description. Salad INSIDE the sandwich!
No where in the description of the sandwich did it say IT ALSO COMES WITH SALAD.
That is one of my pet-peeves that I HATE.
In short excellent museum but disappointing cafe.
(But there cakes were delicious!!)

I enjoyed the video installations, the pavé simulator and general athmosphere. I think would have been more fun with a guide or audio recording. Now reading stuff from a printout was not too fun. Anyways a must-go for cycling buffs.

This is theplace to be for people who love cycling. It is the starting point for several cycling routes and is dedicated to the 'Ronde van Vlaanderen', a competition that rides around the flanders country.
