This 16th century gothic city hall is a real jewel. It houses now the Tourist information center and a museum too.In the museum you will learn more about the history of Oudenaarde, there is a splendid silver collection and an exhibition of the famous tapistry.

Had seen a photo of the town hall and really wanted to see it in person. Sitting at the head of a small market square with a fountain, it was very pretty! We did not go inside as was already too late in the day.

this town hall is designed by the same person who did the Brussels town hall. The delightful thing is that Oudenaarde is a nice small town with no tourists, also the MOU museum is a must
