This was our local beach so visited a few times. There is a bar/cafe on the beach and you can hire sunbeds and umbrella for $20 or $BD40. You get a few vendors asking you to buy jewellery and trips but they don't hassle you....More

The sand is grainy not soft and powdery. The incline into the sea is very steep and not safe for children or not strong swimmers.

There are rocks but walk north 500 yds for a great snorkeling beach.
