Highly Recommend! I decided to go to Morocco as soon as they opened their borders, unfortunately not many tour companies were still closed and the ones that were not were overcharging. I've been to Morocco 2x prior so I pretty much know the average price for certain tours. Nonetheless after getting about 3-4 price quotes that were trying to charge double some even triple, I reached out to best Moroccan Tours and think God I did. They replied back in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. It was only myself and my friend and Best Moroccan Tours opened up their camp and welcomed us. We conversed via WhatsApp, they were super pleasant, very professional and very welcoming. I hired private transfer for 6 days to travel around Morocco so that's how I arrived in Merzouga. I was worried that we would miss sunset because of my driver, but as I would write the tour guide he would reassure me I would see sunset and I will receive the full tour experience. I arrived in Merzouga around 5p (17:00) and the guide welcomed us, greeted us (super pleasant) then gave us a place to change our clothes for the camel ride. Everything about the tour was PERFECT! A whole desert camp that is meant to accommodate 20-30+ people and it was just my friend and I and Best Moroccan Tour took no short cuts, From the amazing camel ride into the sunset, giving us ample to enjoy the sunset and take photos, basing dinner around whatever time we wanted to eat, still giving us a full out traditional camp fire music show even though it was only 2 of us. I literally enjoyed EVERY second of this tour and would highly recommend this company. Also the food was really good and fresh, shower water had great water pressure and hot water. Book your tour with them TODAY!

We are fairly seasoned travelers and like to do travel/learning experiences as a family. We wanted to do this trip last year but did not pan out. This time we started early and did our research, selecting Best Moroccan Tours for the experience. It turned out to be a great decision. Initially, Said proposed and itinerary and our only requirement is that we wanted to go to Chefchaouen, which is otherwise known as the blue city. The perfect itinerary took us on a grand tour of Morocco which saw us visit practically every single important city and site in the country, and doing most of the cultural activities that exemplify what Morocco was and is today.

The highlight of the trip was to be the desert camp on New Year’s which was definitely a special occasion for us and everyone involved, with native music from the Berber people’s souls, and a background (the desert) and a ceiling (the stars) to match. Once in a lifetime experience for sure.

I said “was”, because as it turned out, the people, culture and hospitality was what made the trip for us. Everywhere we went the people was exceptionally welcoming. This was specially so in Chefchaoen and in our desert experience.

If I had to choose the one thing that made it happen, I would say it was our driver/guide - Mustapha - who is a native Berber and desert lover. When you spend 10 hrs a day with someone you just met and have to learn to trust in a hurry, it is very easy not to “click”. He made it happen for us and we are grateful for the teachings about his culture and people.

I cannot say enough about the itinerary planning, including all transportation, hotels, city-specific guides when necessary (even Mustapha would get lost inside the Fes market) and willingness to adapt to our every whim. We had great food, we did 4x4s in the dunes, of course the camels as well, and even hammam and massage in Marrakech. We saw (Roman) ruins, dunkies, snow and even monkeys! And of course we ate some of the best Tahine and couscous you can ask for (care to try camel milk? We did!). In short, an excellent experience.

I had an incredible 4x4 ride in the Merzouga desert with Said! The activities were diverse and exciting: visiting the gnawa, an exhilarating 4x4 ride on the sand, a breathtaking sunset in the dunes while dancing to traditional music, enjoying a traditional couscous dinner with real nomads, and an unforgettable stargazing experience at night amidst the desert on the dunes. Said was a knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive guide, making this adventure even more special. I highly recommend this excursion with him for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Merzouga desert in an authentic and memorable way. Thank you, Said, for this exceptional experience!

For my stay in Merzouga I asked Said from
Bestmoroccantours to assist me in planning an itinerary. He provided a flexible itinerary full of incredible activities to do at Merzouga. It included visiting some local landmarks and attractions.. as well as camel riding, 4WDing and quad biking in the Sahara Desert. Said thinks of everything, and nothing is too much of a hassle. Everything was so easy with pick up and drop off included. Said even went above and beyond by organising a takeaway dinner for me for the night I left Merzouga. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Said is a wonderful host, and is so friendly and happy. With the combination of his infectious personality and his local knowledge from growing up and living in the Merzouga area, he makes not only an amazing guide, but a wonderful friend. I feel lucky to have met him, and I will definitely be recommending Bestmoroccantours to anyone I know that visits Morocco (and I will use them again for any future trips to Morocco). Thank you Said & Bestmoroccantours

The time spent with Said is an extraordinary journey into the world of adventure and family bonds. Said, our guide, turned out to be not only an excellent pilot through the desert wilderness, but also a cordial travel companion. His thoughtfulness and kindness made each food stop an opportunity not only to eat, but also to share stories and spend time together. Everything around us was simply amazing - from picturesque landscapes to unforgettable culinary and cultural experiences. With Said, every moment was full of joy and discovery, making our trip one of the greatest adventures of our lives.

I've been to merzouga desert, which is an amazing place. But the amazir hospitality had been more wonderful than the desert itself! Thanks to Said, me and my friends enjoyed the typical food in a restaurant tent and after we danced and sang around the fire.. how beautiful! the sleeping tent was great, luxury and confortable, with hot water and everything. the camel ride had been charming, such as the sunset break. I will always remember this experience, once in a life everybody should give her/himself this adventure.

What an amazingly wonderful time we had. I indicated via WhatsApp what my family and I would like to see during the trip and Saïd also took this into account. On arrival we were well received by our driver, also a super sweet guest. Our stay in Merzouga was arranged down to the last detail and everything was arranged upon arrival. Our stay was even better than expected! We enjoyed it immensely, he thought along with us if we wanted to undertake an activity and arranged it for us. The first night we slept in a beautiful Riad where we enjoyed our food and the next morning we drove into the desert with the quads. Here too they took us into account. After the quad we had a desert tour with our guide Saïd and he showed us many places and told the story behind them. Think of places where nomads are now located and where the Moroccan military service stays to work at the border of Algeria and Morocco. That evening we left with the camel to our camp in the desert. He also arranged everything for this, our suitcases were waiting for us when we arrived in the desert and he had bought us bottled water because it was warm. He also asked often enough if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The next day we left for Marrakech with our driver and Saïd also kept in touch to know whether we had arrived safely. The driver works with Saïd and has therefore also booked our guide for us. Our driver also made stops along the way at Ait Ben Haddou, where we took photos and had time to look around. We also stopped along the way for photos.

My family and I can't say anything other than:
An unforgettable trip that you will never forget. The people we met were incredibly kind and caring to us and we didn't miss anything. Thanks to Saïd for this unforgettable trip!!

I was in Morocco for my senior year study abroad trip in order to complete my undergraduate. Through all the travel throughout the entire nation of Morocco, the time in Merzouga spent with Said and his crew through the edges of the Sahara are still some of the best memories I have. What a blessing it was to encounter such a great group and a genuine time.

I had an amazing time in Merzouga exploring the Sahara Desert! Said was an extremely knowledgeable, caring, and friendly guide! I traveled as a student with my University, about 30 of us in total, and Said and his team were extremely attentive to everyone’s needs and eager to teach us about their culture. The accommodation was a once in a lifetime experience, nestled at the base of the vast sand dunes of the Saharan Desert. Every night we were treated to delicious food and traditional music around a bonfire. However, by far my favorite part of the experience was being able to stargaze at night, due to the proximity of the camp, it was only a short walk to some of the best stargazing in the world!!

It has been an unforgettable experience visiting the Merzouga desert. My friend and I stayed for two days and from the first moment the staff was always very attentive and friendly, especially Said who was always very attentive to ensuring that we enjoyed ourselves and our experience was even better! Thank you very much, we will return for sure. My friend already knew Said from other times in the desert and I can't wait to go back
