As for most of the ancient villages in Kurdistan, security is a key, so, you cannot see the Palangan, if you are not very close to it; it's almost hidden afar (we are not talking about new buildings). Palangan is a quite popular picknick spot in Iranian Kurdistan ,looks like something from out of this world, fitting better in a fairy tale or the Middle East than in the modern world. The houses that situated on both sides of the river on the hillside have created a stepped architectural style. The roof of the lower house is the yard of the upper house. Kurdistan in general is at its full glory during spring,Without a doubt the best time to visit Palangan is during the late March. Mid or late spring would be the time to go as plains are fully green, trees are covered in blossoms and strawberries are to be found everywhere. Temperatures in Palangan will be delightful during the day and gets very chilly at midnight. In addition to the marvelous nature of this village, the local customs and culture of people are the other notable attraction of Palangan Village Don't forget to eat Barbecued fish ,which is one of the most famous local dish here and it’s absolutely delicious that is worth to try it. Along the route to the waterfall, you can find many picnic spots and restaurants serving it. you can get to Palangan by taxi from the city of Kamyaran. The taxis for Palangan are mostly grouped in a similar area, typically on Salahaddin Ayoobi Street near Emam Shafeiee Square . Also you can go to there from Sanandaj (the capital city of Kurdistan Province). It is about two hours of driving. You can go by bus, taxi or private cars.…
