We looked for activities with the kids (19, 14 and 9) and found it on the web. We payed for the rafting via the website and got confirmation mail. When we arrived (earlier) we found also a great ropes bridges adventure. The little one did the middle level twice, me and the older kids did the highest. The adrenalin was in the air... fun fun fun.
On the rafting we had the best sailor ever. He was amazing and professional. At the 'hard' part the took the little one out and brought her back after 10 min with all the other younger kids. We felt that there are very responsible team.

The only available spot was at 8am which called for a hesitant sun and ice cold water. Nonetheless, a great experience full of laughter and excitement. A smooth ride for our age group: 50-45-14-12-9.
Extreme Waves center is very well organized with experienced and friendly staff. They provide you with a wetsuit, helmet, lifejacket and rain jacket. You can buy a photo CD of the trip if you want to.
Unfortunately, there was not enough hot water to get us through (5 of us) the much sought after shower.

Smile from ear to ear!! An early September event with the expectations of a very cold day on the water. Nope! The staff was friendly and helpful while comforting our concerned and chilly group. No worries, we donned the provided wet suits and river gear. Rapids here we come! First step into the water was chilly, after that, game on! We found ourselves smiling and having a blast knowing we were safe with a very competent and talent captain. Splash here and splash there, testing our skills. rapid drop, navigate the river, and team work was abundant. What a fabulous time! Scenery was breath taking and provided photographer was snapping pictures at multiple locations down the river. The pictures were amazing! Capturing the thrill, excitement, and overall joy in each person's face as we plundered through the white water. An experience that we will never forget. Finished with private showers, very accommodating changing rooms, and a drink at the bar. I wanna go back!!

Four of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) visited Extreme Waves in August 2016. They offer several activities including rafting, mountain biking, climbing, canyoning etc. We opted for rafting and had a brilliant time. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional, and all spoke good English.

I thoroughly recommend Extreme Waves - they bent over backwards to help including letting us camp for free and giving me some rope to fix something on my van. We shall certainly revisit them if I am lucky enough to get down there again.

5 stars!

FUN! Lots of it. We booked the exciting ride that last all together around 2.5 hours. We got to the center, got long John wet suit, waterproof coat, helmet and a life vest.
All we needed to bring are:shoes(very important, don't come with sandals!) bathing suit and a synthetic t-shirt.
Our guide spoke English, but you have only few words to remember :forward, backward, stop, down...
You go on a bus, go ride few km and start the rowing.
Won't spoil your fun by telling you everything , but the river is full of rapids and excitement.
The only thing that bother me was paying 30 Euro for some photos they took on the way.
Also, some drinking water are essential on the stop.
Overall, 5 stars for a well organized center.
Very recommend for active families.

Very friendly staff and at all times I felt safe with our instructor-considering it was my first time doing the rafting.
River is very fast, you need energy for this, last arround 30 min.
They gave us wet suits and shoes.
There are showers to get clean after wards, you just need your shampoo and towel.

Marcello booked the two of us for a day when he had no other customers--then found more people to fill the raft. This was after we had been turned down by two other rafting centers. Good work!
The staff was super-friendly, the guide spoke very clear English, everything was perfect.

My family and I did Rafting and Canyoning with Extreme Waves. It was an unforgettable exciting experience especially canyoning (because it was our first time with canyoning). The owners are very helpful and Berni responds immediately by emails to any questions prior to our arrival at Val di Sole.
During rafting photos are taken by a photo company working for Extreme Waves but not part of Extreme Waves. Photos are burned on cd and may be bought from this person who sits in a small cabin. Amazingly the same photo cd is sold at different prices according to the number of family members, ranging from 15 euros for a single person to 25 euros for a family of four . I dont know the cost for a bigger group. So use your brains especially when paying from one pocket.
WELL DONE EXTREME WAVES

My wife and I have done big whitewater rafting in the Canadian Rockies, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, so by now we have something of a sense for what to look out for in terms of gear, guides, professionalism and safety. After an afternoon of Class IV whitewater rafting with Extreme Waves, we feel like we can wholeheartedly recommend them

The owners are exceptionally nice and flexible, with a good enough command of English to be very helpful to non-Italian speakers. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to commit until the day prior to rafting, and Extreme Waves was good enough to accommodate us. Extreme Waves itself is located in an unmissable spot in the beautiful Val di Sole, and offers a wide variety of outdoor-themed activities (including what looked like a fun, challenging ropes course we hope to take on next time we're there).

While we were a five-person team, the rafts looked to be about eight-man size, and in new condition. We were given thick wetsuits, which when combined with a fleece layer we wore on our torso underneath, and wool socks, were plenty to keep us warm in some pretty cold water. Indeed, we did a decent amount of paddling, such that we were warm enough to actually voluntarily swim a small portion of the river in order to cool off.

Our guide was a young, nice, confident, Italian and English-speaking Italian - we felt we were in good hands throughout the trip. Instruction was given in both Italian and English, and was precisely consistent with instruction we had received rafting elsewhere. The Exciting trip itself is beautiful, rugged and varied, with some sections of relatively calm water (class II), broken up by several sections of series of class IV rapids. Looking up the steep, colorful canyon walls on both sides, the scenery is beautiful. The run itself was about 15 kilometers long, and took about one hour and 45 minutes.

Thanks to Berni, husband, Mateo and team for a really fun afternoon.
