It's 2 km of great beach life, lined with restaurants and resorts, all the services you need are on hand. Security Patrolled day/night. You can snorkel out 15ft on the south end and see reef fish. The water is clear and warm with the best coral diving in the Hemisphere.

A beach like in West Bay you find in any place of the world, and quite a few of them are much better, quieter, wider and with fewer people. West Bay was once famous for its corals. They are all completely gone. What you see today are at the max. skeletons of corals. Fish? gone too. Especially when the "criuseshippers"... More

This is a good tropical beach. Clean, good sand, great water. Lots of hotels and restaurants lining it and lots of people. We were there in January, so lots of holiday business. If you want a quiet secluded beach, this isn't it. But if you like activity, good sand and water, plenty of attractions,, this is your place. The beach... More

We have been there several times, just to enjoy the beautiful water & sandy beach & of course to snorkel as well. Very nice place.

Absolutely stunning views. Great food and lots to do. Best breakfast is Celeste's. Argentinian grill is definitely the best dinner but it's a bit more pricy than other restaurants. Manuel is a great taxi boat driver and has a sweet teal boat.

The beach is beautiful!!! It can be crowded on days that cruise ships arrive, but we ventured further to the ends of the beach on those days and saw fewer crowds. The restaurants and bars along the way have fantastic food and drinks and many have chairs for patrons or for rent.

During our 3 week stay at West End we traveled by water taxi ($3 per person each way) to West Bay Beach. It's an easy and pleasant boat ride. Once we arrived we chose to walk the entire beach to the end (about a kilometer?). A lovely and easy beach to walk on that has a firm and flat surface.... More

This place can get crowded when there are several cruise ships in port at once but the water is clean and nice and if you go to the Fosters end, not as crowded. Be prepared to pay $10pp for the use of beach chairs, showers and bathrooms as well as security so you aren't afraid to go into the water... More

We taxied there from the cruise ship and paid 15 apiece. Thought that was fair because it is about a 15 mile ride. We went to Henry Morgans and paid 10 for a beach chair also fair. They have chairs in the sun or shade. They also have a very attentive security guard to watch your stuff. We took one... More
