West Bay is what many consider the picture-perfect Caribbean destination: white sand, clear, calm waters and full service resorts. The variety of water activities include scuba diving, fishing charters, snorkeling and parasailing. Scuba diving and other outfitters leave directly from the beach so starting your water-based activities is easy and convenient.

We went to west end bay to check it out since we have not been there for 11yrs. It seemed like every ten steps someone wanted to sell you something. There were way too many people there. If you like crowds that's the place to...More

Crystal Blue Waters!!! We love this beach. Lots to do and you will have fun! We have a special tour guide Shelford that always makes sure the vendors leaves us alone. Great food too!

The water is warm, clean, calm, there are no seaweed or jellyfish. The beach is protected by the coral reef, perfect for wading, swimming and just enjoying it, gentle waves. My family of three enjoyed it day and night. The water is turquoise, just what...More

Great to visit on a day when cruise ships are not in port. Remarkable snorkeling right off the beach- when the cruise ships are not in port.

I think all of those who responded before me gave accurate information and good options. I took a cab from the airport and it cost $30. It was about 30 minutes, but there were no ships in port so probably less traffic.
