I highly recommend a day pass to the Mayan resort (see my other review of the resort). Great pool, pretty grounds, good buffet, lots of drinks and good sevice

Good one day beach stop. They had a great beach area with a buffet/bar, plenty of beach chairs and areas both in and out of the sun. We would definitely come back again

Yes, just get a taxi there from cruise port and you can pay upon arrival.

I booked my day pass with Shore Excursioneer. Check their website for rates. I think it was about $80 per person which included round trip transportation from and back to the cruise port, use of the beach, pool and a buffet... More
