We had an awesome time once again with the staff at West Bay Divers! Laura took great care of us on our dives, and helped be complete my Advanced Open Water certificate. Hana was taking care of the shop while we were there, she’s very...More
West Bay is the best!! Went on my first dives after certification here and I can’t say enough about how professional and awesome they are. You won’t regret using this dive company, especially if you’re staying in west bay.
West Bay Divers is an exceptional Dive shop. My family and I came in on a cruise ship and Christi and her team made it so easy for me to set up a dive for my sons and I prior to even arriving. And of...More
Let me first start by saying that I am a PITA (pain in the a***) when it comes to e-mailing ahead of time. I like to have my dives organized and set before I arrive and Christi is THE BOSS when it comes to responding...More
My friends and I were in Roatan to dive and we found, what I think, the best place on the island. I personally did seven dives with the company and would recommend them to anyone visiting. Our main diving guide Edwin, was wonderful and very...More
It just keep getting better! This is the 3rd season diving with West Bay Divers. As usual, safety is paramount and detailed dive briefings are enlightening. Even when we've had newer divers on board, the detailed briefings seem to keep any issues away, as everyone...More
As Northerners who only get to go on a dive vacation every couple of years, we want to get it right. Lots of the West Bay dive shops seem to get good reviews, but I can't believe there's a better choice than West Bay Divers....More

This is the only place to go to if you want safe and small groups of divers. The shop is run really well and all the instructors are impressive. Boat was lovely and well maintained.

I just finished doing my open water and advanced courses with West Bay Divers, and can’t recommend them highly enough.
All super friendly and knowledgeable staff who clearly love what they do, and have the right attitude towards the reef/underwater life, the environment (frequently saw...More
It is a beautiful walk on the beach from the Grand Roatan to West Bay Divers. It is an easy walk and doable on a daily basis. I know that you can keep your equipment at the dive shop if that is what you want to do so you... More
It is a beautiful walk on the beach from the Grand Roatan to West Bay Divers. It is an easy walk and doable on a daily basis. I know that you can keep your equipment at the dive shop if that is what you want to do so you don't have to carry it with you. The crew at West Bay Divers is the best. Definitely sign up to go out with Kieran as your dive master. He does a fabulous job.

You could do an adventure dive to 20 feet. An adventure dive is intended to introduce people to the sport of diving, not as a way of circumventing the certification process. So, you'd probably be limited to one dive then you'd have to complete at least your scuba cert. I strongly suggest you get certified, otherwise you have no clue of the risks and what to do in case of a problem.
