Camped here for a few nights in the winter, and loved it. Walking the beach is wonderful at low tide, we found so many cool Things. Warning though, we camped up by the water as no one else was around, and narrowly missed getting taken...More
My wife and I spend part of a day walking along this beautiful beach. It was low tide and we saw lots of interesting rocks, and even small crabs which apparently is a favourite snack for black bears (which we did not see). The wind,...More
We stayed here in our small motorhome, and camped on a cliff overlooking the beach and ocean. The view was spectacular and the beach is great for walking. We were amazed at how many agates there are on the beach. If you hold them up...More
The walk along this long beach will be a time I return to when contemplating peace and harmony. The fresh wind, sound of surf and stones rustling, the bleached trees and drift wood, the majestic vertical cliff of Tow Hill are forever imprinted on my...More

We went high season and didn't have an issue getting a spot. There are no reservations so show up in the morning and hang out on the beach and watch for someone leaving if there are no openings when you arrive. There is a tap for water but if you have full water tanks that will be more convenient as the water pressure if very low. Beautiful spot. It was our favourite place and we had the best sleep listening to the waves! Dress very warmly. No cell service or electricity. Tow Hill is well worth the hike.

There are usually sites available but long weekends might be full as the locals go there. If you have a tent you can camp on the beach before the campground or beyond the campground after the river. There is also a nice... More
