Sent for this cruise in a rickety boat... did not see any birds or animals... the cinnamon island was good... else the rest was a sham. Paid LKR 8000 for two... not worth the experience.

Madu river is in Balapitiya which is abt 2 hrs from Colombo We went on the old road which is narrower than the newly made highway as it takes quite a while to get to the access point of the highway from Colombo Hope this... More

It was about Rs.1500 per person. But I'm Sri lankan born, the rates maybe a bit more for foreigners.
