Good place for Boating n Fish massage

Fish massage is very good and it's very cheap. Just you have to pay Rs. 200 LKR for the fish massage

We visited the river as part of the trip. There are many islands to check out but the most impressive was the cinnamon island and the lovely man who lives there showed us how he makes cinnamon and oil, he explained how to use the oil and was just super nice. I particularly liked the mangroves and the Buddha temple... More

I should imagine most hotel visitors to Ahungalla have no idea what is just up the road. We took an early morning, 7am boat so we were first on the river. 22 islands on a river/lake community. Cinnamon island very educational. Saw so many kingfishers and huge water monitor lizards. Loved it

An experience you will truly enjoy. The fish attraction is a ripoff. The cinnamon production area is interesting.

It is a 1 & 1/2 hours boat ride (Rs. 2000/2500 for locals) around the river. You will be able to see so many tiny islands covered with mangrove. There are arches made by mangrove too. There is an ancient temple on one island (Koth Doowa) and there are tame giant squirrels. Then the most important thing is "Fish therapy",... More
