I went zip lining with my 2 friends who had done it about 5 years ago. The zip lining was a lot of fun but if you are scared of heights, stay away. There was also some fairly steep trails to hike to get to the next platform and I was winded. Between some platforms, there is a wire-mesh metal bridge with guide wires. i was squeamish on the bridges but since i was hooked in with my harness there was no chance of falling. This in mostly in the shade of the trees so sunscreen is not really needed, nor is a hat. They have free lockers to put things in before you start. The guides were EXCELLENT and kept us very safe. I'm glad I did it!

Our two families, with kids ages 14,15,and16 had a wonderful day at Congo. It was peaceful and relaxed. Staff was very nice and made everything feel safe. We started with a super fun zip line tour and finished with a delightful visit to the animal rescue sanctuary where we fed monkeys. The highlight was holding hands with the spider monkeys who were incredibly sweet and general. Our guide, Mizael, knew everything about the animals and clearly loved them all. He spent a long time with us teaching us about the animals and helping us practice our Spanish. We especially loved that Congo didn’t feel commercial. It had a super local vibe.

My family & I absolutely LOVED the ATV ride! It was the perfect amount of difficulty so as to not be boring. Our guide was awesome and brought us to a fresh water pool w/ waterfall to go diving and swimming. Beautiful views along the way and stopped for lunch at a local place (which we later returned too because the food and prices were good). Expect to get dirty, bring a face covering (dusty roads), and wear a bathing suit underneath to go swimming. If you are fair skinned I would wear suntan lotion though you will not be in direct sunlight through the ride. Do the beach & jungle tour, it is DEFINITELY worth the extra money!!!!

While the title of this business is Canopy Tour they offer a bunch of other activities. I actually did the ATV riding activity which was booked through the hotel. The welcome and check in was seamless and we were a group of 5 on this ATV riding activity which was about 2-2.5 hours long that took up through the forest and to the beach where our guide allows us some free time to drive around and test the ATV capabilities... which were limited on the other parts of the drive due to terrain, traffic, etc. Our guide was ok.. not overly friendly and exciting which usually makes a big difference. It was a fun experience and recommend doing an ATV tour either with this company or another one but this area was fun for this type of activity.
