St Mary's history is closely entwined with tile making and this small church lies a short walk from the Tile Museum with interesting examples of tiles within its chancel. May not always be found open.

This is a really ornate church with amazing windows. It was real surprise to find it tucked away near the river and not in the centre of a village.

Popped in after visiting the nearby tile museum. The church has examples in situ. It is very impressive from the outside with an unusual rose window. Services on alternate Sundays. Semi modernised inside. High Anglican church.

Visited on a warm, late summer evening to hear the double bass and piano recital: an excellent evening! Beautiful music, a church built in the French style and a glass of red wine - what more could one ask?
