Gorgeous little town with stunning views. We have stayed at a nearby campsite and visit this little gem regularly over the years. Had the pleasure of staying in a hotel overlooking the town recently.
Not very touristy with a lovely selection of restaurants and shops. Keep walking right and you come to another area with more restaurants and bars right on the beach. Highly reccomend staying here for a relaxing traditional Spanish holiday.

This strange little town, looking like el pueblo espagnol in Barcelona, is very nice to wander around. This town looks very organic but it has been built in the 60's by some Belgian-Spanish developers.

Gorgeous little village with a few good eating options and a lovely beach. Nice to get away from the larger beach down the road at Park Playa Bara.

We've been several times, and this year is unforgivable. There are two amazing beaches and no showers, they have ripped them out. I find it amazing that on the beaches of the entire town of Rada de Bara where the Roc belongs there is not even a shower. I guess the people who govern shouldn’t go to the beaches of their population much and they don’t see the need to have them. They don't think about how necessary it is when you don't live in the township and you can't shower right away and you have to leave full of sand and salt. Today August 19th the beaches were empty and no wonder. Nor do they think of the merchants who will surely be very happy with the fact that they do not have this service and people prefer to go to other beaches with this essential service.

Nice tapas restaurants and beaches and close enough to Playa Bara to be able to walk there. There is a pick n mix sweet shop which is always a massive hit with the kids!

We were able to walk here from our campsite, it took 10 minutes. Wow what a magnificent little village. I’m not big on sightseeing in the heat but this was worth it! Around every corner was another surprise. Even our teenagers looked up from their phones!!!

We were staying in Roda de Bara and there is a lovely walk along the promenade to El Roc. Wonderful sea views and plenty of opportunity to observe the surfers from above. There is an interesting civic village with shops, bars and restaurants and lovely quaint streets. A good way to spend a few hours.

Small little group of shops & restaurants in an old castle type building, please go to the small bakery inside, they do cakes & pastries to die for

This is a nice place to go for a walk or sit down and enjoy a drink. There are many beautiful houses stacked together with small allyways and shops. Take good notice of which restaurants you choose since some of them are typical tourist traps with regards to food quality.
