Lovely little town on the edge of mountains. Famous for its embutidos, jamones and so on. Had lunch, late september, still outside on the Plaza Mayor.

Walking through this town is just a wonderful experience. You will not be sorry you stopped and just started wandering its narrow and unique streets. The arquitecture is unusual, the weather is cooler than it is in Extremadura and it is easy to just get...More

A trip to Medieval times! Old buildings still standing, very narrow streets and passageways and the town's main plaza is beautiful. A great place to sit at the outdoor cafe and take in the ambience!

This is a fun place to spend a night. We wandered about the village exploring for hours through the many very small lanes. It is very very picturesque and certainly the nicest of the villages in this area of Spain

This is a very quaint village. It looks in part like a film set. Very Castillian in feel. Worth a visit.

I do not know where the “Downtown” comes from. Much more appropriate would be Casco Historic or Historic Centre The Lonely Planet Guide to Spain says “this mountainous region with wooded hillsides and pretty stone and timber villages is among Castilla y Leon’s best kept...More

Great place to walk around, see the church and enjoy the atmosphere. I miss the livestock coming in to the town in the evening--hope that still happens in the summer.
