A nice 18th-century palace
Nov 2019
This "Little Versailles" palace is best visited with the audio guide, which provides helpful context and history.

Magnificent!
Jul 2020
The palace is truly stunning! As we went during the pandemic, it was near to empty so we had the luxury of truly walking around comfortably and taking everything in. Staff all have masks, there is hand sanitizer at the entrance and markings on the floor to keep distance when paying to enter. The garden area is so large, I don't know if you'd be able to see it all. It is gorgeous and relaxing. I would strongly recommend this stunning location.

Skip the Palace and go straight to the gardens.
Jul 2020
The Palace isn't worth paying for. It's full of things that couldn't fit in a garage. The only reason it's paid entry is to pay for the endless staff glaring at you as you walk through it. And this is on top of security cameras, it's more like an airport.
The gardens are better. Shame they couldn't afford the electricity to turn on the water pumps. Waterless fountains are very ugly. The setting is very pleasant and the air is fresh and fragrant. However, overall it's not worth a few hours trip from Segovia.

Palace of the People

Don’t compare with Royal Palace in Madrid but with own distinct and beautiful history that will tell about its struggle and victory, a phenomenal garden and its surroundings.

Simply stunning
Oct 2019
A superb period building with delightful gardens. We spent our time enjoying a walk in the tranquil gardens. It was a shame the fountains were not operating as this would have been spectacular.

Beautiful - but do the Audio Tour
Oct 2019 • Couples
We arrived early and walked the grounds for a few hours.
We then paid to visit and do an audio tour of the palace.
We did not know that the audio tour included the palace, gardens and chapel.
We would recommend purchasing the palace and audio tour at the start .
The palace and gardens are stunning as many others have reviewed.
Allow at least 3-4 hours.

Quite a Stunning Place
Sep 2019
We came by taxi from Segovia (25 Euro each way.) We started in the gardens, and then went to the house. It seems far more people visit the house than the gardens--it's worth planning time to do both...at least three hours. The electronic guided tour in the house tells the story of the architecture more than the family history, but it was modern and on iPad with additional images, so we thought it was worth it. It's a very romantic location, and quite beautiful, and we're so glad we went.

Just walking up to it is beautiful
Aug 2019
Very beautiful building and large art collection inside. The gardens a certainly picture worthy. The fountains were dry because of a large forest fire in the area earlier and there were water restrictions, but you can imagine how they would look.
Also, a maze to enjoy..

Mini Versailles in Central Spain
Jul 2019 • Family
This palace is reminiscent of Versailles without the crowd.
There is a bus that take tourist here directly from the bus station at Segovia and back.
It is best attraction while staying at Segovia! The garden is lovely even without the water fountain being on. The inside palace has the flair like Other Spainish castles with many spectacular tapestries.

However, the Palace is closed some days during the year, owed to official, national celebrations: 1st and 6th January (Christmas), 23rd January, 25th December (Christmas) and 1at of May (Workers Day). Some official acts and celebrations might unusually stop activities, but this is very infrequent and related to Presidential visits

Hola Violeta,
Espero haberte ayudado.
Buenas vacaciones !!.
