Jost Vineyards is situated on over 100 acres by the beautiful North Shores Sunrise Trail. With the largest and longest operating winery in the Atlantic region, the Jost family pioneered the industry, supporting the majority of today's independent vineyard operations. Their estate bottled whites, reds and specialties are lovingly crafted in the cellars and are available for sampling, sale and shipping from the winery store. Hike, bike and picnic with spectacular vistas of the vineyards and beautiful beaches of the Northumberland coastline. The area enjoys a mezzo climate with more days of sun than anywhere else in Atlantic Canada. Enjoy local cheeses with a perfectly paired wine on the licensed terrace and take a vineyard tour. If you are not able to make the drive, Jost wines can be discovered at most local restaurants, liquor stores and your favorite neighbors back deck.

We were pleasantly surprised to find great food at this vineyard in Malagash. We really enjoyed the lobster sliders and the salads which featured crunchy bits of carrot and red cabbage. It was a good find after a rather disappointing trip to the lavender farm in Seaform - not recommended.

Glad to finally make it here. Great atomsphere and very knowledgeable staff. They were quite willing to offer samples of wine I was curious about without having to ask.

We enjoyed the walking through the vineyard. The physical space has been nicely improved with a restaurant and in/out seating. A nice new tasting area, too. I found the tasting area/check-out staff to be a bit stiff and off-putting. Another customer mentioned having the same feeling. A warmer, more fun experience would result in increased sales. The serving staff in... More

The location is beautiful and the wine is delicious. We tried a selection of reds and whites and we were not disappointed. Next time we'll definitely have to stay for lunch.

This winery is absolutely amazing. It's in Minimigash, NS, a hidden treasure. We dropped in to pick up some wine of choice, instead did some taste testing and had lunch there. The chicken cordon blue panini and fresh salad with house dressing and wine to compliment was fabulous...what a beautiful drive and facility. Wine tours start at 12,,,,with wi e... More

We went on a Saturday afternoon and after tasting a few of their wines and buying a few bottles, we went and sat on their brand new outdoor patio where we enjoyed a group of musicians who played from noon till five. Nice atmosphere and friendly service .
