We stopped at Pulpit Rock Winery and didn't know what to expect, except that we had tasted some of their delicious Merlot at our hotel the night before. The wine tasting room is well laid out and the wine is great and well priced, but what really made the difference was the personal experience - having two of the wine... More

Pulpit Rock is not a trendy Swartland winery, but it probably should be. The wines are quality Swartland wines and a tasting here is a rewarding experience. If nothing else, unless you live in the Swartland, none of your friends have ever seen Pulpit Rock wine.

Short visit but worthwhile. Nice selection of wines to taste. Service was warm and friendly. Left with a box or two!

Every year in May during the Riebeel Kasteel Olive Festival we visit Pulpit Rock with friends on the Sunday afternoon to partake of their potjie lunch. For the uninitiated, South African 'potjies' is like a stew made in a huge three-legged cast-iron pot over a fire, very much rural traditional food. However, here they make five different potjies namely Curry... More

Well worth a visit - they have easy drinking wines at very reasonable prices as well as reserve wines at higher prices. Their 2013 Pinotage is particularly good.

We recently went to Pulpit Rock for a wine tasting. They have quite a large range of wines. Those we tasted were pleasant and were purchased at very reasonable prices.

This farm produces wine from 525ha of vineyards. This makes it quite a big producer. It has quite a large variety of wines which are exceptionally good value for money.

We stopped at Pulpit Rock on a very cold and wet Saturday. It was quiet at the tasting room, and was greeted by a very friendly young man. We tasted their two ranges and was really surprised at the quality and affordability of the wines. A plus is also the wonderful view over the valley. The tasting room is a... More

The winery is not very far out of Riebeek kasteel and is set out wonderfully. One doesnt pay for the selections of wine that you are tasting and they have a really wide variety to choose from. Really great place to do wine tasting and the lady assisting was really helpful.
